O'Neill's Empire Ladder Team Thread!

There's a new ladder season *supposedly* starting on 6/25/2007.

So here's your chance to get into a co-op group for the next ladder.

Requirements: You must all be on the same realm, and have the "O'Neill's Empire ~~~~~~ *your location* in your profile location.

Anyone may join, as long as the group rules are followed.

Am I playing the next ladder? .... Undecided.

Yes you will, no question about it. As being our spiritual leader and one of the mods with the ability to expand the empire you must see this as your holy task. I hereby pledge my loyalty to the Wacko-Helpout-Team. I will fullfill my duty next monday first thing.

Is there a real difference in Realms other than language issues?? I'm playing Europe just because I live in it, but I would probably have far less language troubles on UsWest. I made an account already on UsEast, but surprisingly most people spoke French there, this made me assume this includes a large part of Canada then? Only the in-game channels would be a problem since I'd get my own Dutch channel assigned in the active Realm. My guess is there won't be much people in it. Any suggestions? I.e. playing on UsW because there are likely more people to play there? If somebody provides me with a full chat channel rushing won't be a problem either. As for duping I think it won't make much of a difference.

Is there somebody out there who can supply me with concrete differences in different realms?

You may have more connectivity issues depending on where you live and where you play. Make an account on east or west and check your ping (/fps) and if everything seems to be running smoothly you probably won't have any problems. As for the language barrier, you seem to do fine to me.

I play on US East but only occasionally run into french as a language. I'm sure there are some Quebecers playing, but 95% speak english (or some dumbed down form of it anyway..."Do u plz hav ne free stuf u cn giv me?")

Well German and Polish people were overwhelming last EuScL. And believe when I say most don't understand much English. I'm going to consider for UsWest. I assume that realm has the most chances of someone speaking Enlish.
...
But now that I think about it, ALL the scandinavian people I've met have proven themself very friendly and trustworthy. Besides most speak formidable English to boost. Hmmm, it seems I'm back in a dilemma here. I'd go for both atm.

Come play on west softcore ladder.

I might be able to talk a certain somebody with the character name "Gorny" to give it up to a certain person.

Since most people who signed up in this thread are probably playing US, I'll cover EuScL. Give me an hour or 2 to be of any help to anybody.

How far and long are you guys?? I haven't had anyone needing my help so far.....so much for the O'Neill ladder team....
I'm not that high atm, though. Just can't cut it to hell with my uncommon builds.

I have a level 46 lightning sorceress at the moment on East. I might begin my west character soon though.

She is working her way through Nightmare Act3 on the way to Travincal right now. I think I started her on Friday, or perhaps Saturday. Walking the game killing everything I could find in a solo game. :grin: I was level 17 before I got to Normal Andariel. I've only come across three monsters I had trouble with killing so far, two of them supruniques, the other being Nightmare Duriel. :azn:
