One Quick question from a Battle.Net Newbie...

    Howdy everyone! :howdy:

As you could guess from the thread title I'm both new, and full of questions.

I'm really looking forward to making a Necromancer, but I can't make up my mind between a specialist with bone spells, or a "Babysitter". They both look to be a blast to play, and I was hoping you folks could give me some feedback as to which ones you prefer.

Any help here would be much appreciated. Happy Hunting!

Welcome Newcomer to The Darkness. Grab a brew :drink: and feel free to raise some corpses.

It may be easier to start a Skelliemancer at first. This allows you to MF easily and generally play through the game. It is an easy way to make your fortune.

    Hmmm...hi :)

Personally, when faced with a decision like that...I make both :p - but also thought I'd post to note - your name seems familiar... do you happen to know someone who goes by the name Alzorath? :howdy:

Would that be the "babysitter" he was refering to?

Never had to do that with mine :drink:

I enjoy playing a skelemancer and a "babysitter" wouldn't quite be an accurate analogy as it's not quite as boring as that. I'm always doing something besides keeping an eye on the minions. Between curse support, dodging ranged attacks, CE casting, and peeking ahead for new targets, I stay quite busy.

My Skeletons kill faster than a Jenny Craig reject at a buffet.

Thanks all, for the suggestions. I'll have to give the "Skellemancer" a try first, I only reffered to them as babysitters after hearing horror stories from my friend about them opening doors at the most inopportune moments and generally acting like violent, wayward children.

Here's to a long and fruitful career :drink:

By the way, No, I've never met an "Alzorath", but I wouldn't be averse to if they were cool, or were an attractive young lady. (preferably both) :D
