all right seems i need to (try) to clarify things up:

i DO prefer humans NEVER harm/kill animals.

if that's not an option, than the next best circumstance, is for only the animals i could care less about, get killed for food (cows, pigs, chickens, food "livestock" animals).

under NO circumstance am i for the harming/killing of animals i care about for food and especially for criminal "sport".

again, i'm human, and that means i have preferences. child > adult. female > male. dog > cow. etc.... i have my favorites and my worsts (can't think of a word that means opposite of favorites...)

i do NOT feel that it's "my way or the highway", but there are some things in this world that are absolute and receive ZERO compromise. the rape of a lil girl is one such example as an absolute "NO NO" to me. there ARE standards in the world and humanity.

animals killing and eating animals in the wild for survival is fine. humans have no such business in this "affair", and a human certainly NEVER kills and eats an animal for survival. we don't live in the wild. we don't live in the "animal world". we live in our "cities" (our urban HUMAN ONLY "jungles"). we live in our "human world".

i said already many times, i do ********NOT********** care about cows and pigs. KILL THEM (just don't make me watch or think about it)! EAT THEM!

YES, i'm selective. kill and eat all u want of the animals i do NOT care about, but don't u dare harm and especially kill an animal i care about in my presence, if you value your own survival, your own life.

I would consider that a "my way or the highway" attitude.

Yes some things have no compromise, but how does eating certain animals you like one of them? The killing of animals for food by humans is usually less brutal then them getting mauled in the wild (there are exceptions like raising cows in ridiculously crowded areas). Also, we do need to kill animals for food. I highly doubt everyone is going to be a vegetarian, and besides, we're omnivores. A balanced diet of meat and veggies is good for us.

we all know Hege doesn't express himself accurately or clearly enough to let us know his exact sentiments... he tends to exaggerate

as to your other comments which assume something about him which he in fact implied but didn'T mean that way:

-he's not vegetarian, look a coupla posts up, he agrees with killing them in general if it doesn't affect those he loves
-he is allowed to say that he doesn't see compromise for killing those he loves, who does?
