think of this every1..... trangs-ouwls or watever... 3 parts give 13 to firewall 18 to fireball yada yada.. not sure but i think more of im gives like 20 to meteor or sumthin... yay crapy necro who can kill normal fallen with his fire ball.... stoopid... buuuuuuuuuut... put all but wing on a SORCE OMGOD +18 to fireball im positive on.. max fire mastery and +18 to fireball 2 sojs and a shako by itself gives a level 44 fireball :cheesy: .... ya scary and if meteor is added too like a wat.. 50000k dam per second meteoooor o god cool ideaaaaa... i should actualy try it....

Sorry to burst your bubble but..... according to the Arreat Summit:

Notes: This Set is designed for the Necromancer, however any class can wear the items in this Set except for Trang-Oul's Wing. Only the Necromancer can complete this Set. "Trang-Oul's" is the proper name for this set despite what the manual might say or other spellings you might have seen.

If you complete this set the Necromancer will transform into a Vampire in appearance. He will also get skills such as Meteor, Fire Wall, and Fire Ball. This set certainly allows the wearer to have some fun with other players. Note: wearing this set will increase casting delay resulting in slower casting (even with fast cast items). This is a bug and has been reported.

*Players that have the Fire Ball or Fire Wall skills (Sorceresses) have a cap of +3 on those skills rather than the full number.

It's too bad that doesn't work.

You can only get a max of +3 from those items if you're a sorceress.

That's why you don't see barbs wearing dual Call To Arms for the +12 to Battle Orders... cause it only gives +3 to barbs.

when i put on only 2 items of the set... wing not included... it gives plus 13 to fire wall... get the guize and the belt.. not a full set but still gives the bonusus dont need full set u just wont get full bonuses... yet u will get enough bonuses

as said before, the max for sorcs with that set is +3 so its pretty much useless when you can get the same amount (helm + belt) Shako + arach and other good mods too.

Yes. It seems that lots of people are actually allergic to grammar, proper language and anything remotely related to the use of spelling. The disease is spreading, watch out, it might infect you too ! ::cue ev0l laughter::

3 people already told him (very nicely I might add) that it dosen't work, the fully explained why it diden't work, and even gave alternate examples of other oskills (ex. battle orders) that diden't work for other classes ..

Other characters can use the trang's set pieces to use the sorc skills they just don't have the fire mastery that the sorc has. In addition to trangs set pieces you can wear charged items to get the synergy bonus'es for other characters, but still no fire mastery.

Its not a bad idea it just been tried before 1000 times and the same thing applies Oskills in a character that owns the skill natively only count as +3 no matter the strength.

But ctc skills are delivered at the quoted amount, that means a meteor cast from a ctc unique would be delivered at the slvl that is given on the item. Oskills, charges and ctc from other characters other than sorc'es will be at full value and will get the masteries accounted with them. IIRC that includes aura damages from aura on when worn affixes such as doom's holy freeze aura.

one of my favorite tricks is to use a stone runeword with hellmouth gloves to get ctc firestorm slvl 12, that has a synergy of 16 * 23% damage from the stone runeword. With 20 in fire mastery thats 163% so about 231*2.6 or ~600 damage from a ctc item, 3 fire streams = ~1800 damage per second. Using earthshifter with 20 in firemastery puts your ctc fissure at 1500 damage. There are other combination available, you just have to look at the uniques/sets/runeword and figure them out.

Also keep in mind that some people on here are not native English-speakers. So unless you want to go to a Korean board and try to write in perfect grammar and spelling, take sum spaling erers with a gayne uv salt.

@nercropilis, this seriously does not work as a few posters have pointed out.

@others, you know who: i will not tolerate making fun of bad grammar. There are very young players around that are not yet or not at all ver literate in english grammar or they migth be from a totally differnt place where english is not one of main languages. So explain the cause and quit the bashing.
