I think the real sad issue is how elderly people are still working when they should be retired because everyone is out to gouge the hell out of us. So if someone can't control their bowels, should they really be in the workfocre? No! They should be retired!

No, what I meant was it is a shame that elderly people don't have a choice but to work when they would rather be retired. I'm saying IF someone has a bowel problem AND they don't want to work anymore in their senior years, they shouldn't have to. But we are all getting gouged in the great North American system of gouging so the old man in the OP likely has no choice but to keep on working.
