Offical 2004 NFL Draft thread...
Well the draft had several Ups and downs. Some teams got what they wanted, others did not. There were teams considered winners and losers.
Top 3 NFL Winners in draft:
1.)New England- Managed to get a great player and have two solid first round picks, a Super Bowl repeat seems very likely,
2.) Detroit Lions- Running back and WR. Good solid draft picks and should make a great improvement on offense.
3.) Atlanta Falcons- A great CB and a WR. Huge boost to defense and should help them greatly long as Vick does not get hurt.
Top 3 NFL losers in draft:
1.) Dallas Cowboys- Why did they HAVE to trade down? We could of had a superb running back that would fit perfectly with Dallas and boost the offense. Now we have 2 first round picks next year. I hate to say it but this is not looking good
. The competition is getting higher in the NFC east, we need to improve now... not a year later.
2.) San Fransico-Traded down. They don't seem to want to be competitive anymore...
3.)Baltimore- Only because they had nothing in the first round.
