Sweet, what was it for, GBA right? Now go pick up Xenosaga episode II, and mail it to me. :azn:
And no, we didn't go together, I shoulda called him when I was there, just to meet, but thats OK. However, the funny part was we agreed to look for eachother at the show, like a scavenger hunt. hehehe

I was all, "I'll be the asian girl wearing this this this and this."
yeah on the GBA...while my robot was running (ahem doing all the work) i stepped out to a gamestop that had it in stock.....and grabbed some gas too

which was $2.61...wow...gas prices have been dropping...no complaints here...still far above the natl avg though

*yeah its impossible to find people...it took me forever to round up most of my crew at tao in vegas....and we were still missing 2...lol...and took almost an hour to round up everyone at rain and we left one behind cause we coudln't find him...lol

FFIV is a remake of FFII IIRC. FFIII is an entirely different game, that never hit the english speaking world (short of emulators with crappy translations, I suppose)

I must be the only gamer who has never played a FF game. They don't really sound like that much fun to be honest.

I´m in the same boat. I played FF7 for a little while and gave up. Maybe I just didn´t try hard enough. I have a lot of friends who swear by that one, though!

Yeah, I have that as well. There are plenty of games that I find repetitive, yet somehow D2 doesn't fall into that.

lol...i remember everytime i start over on D2 its like antique roadshow..theres some awesome item you find every hour for the first day..then item of the day...then itme of the week...and so on....it just fun scouring for cool drops and items....not sure if i make any sense here....but yeah i see it as the gamers "antique road show" where you're just searching for an awesome and super rare item that you can use/utilize in making your char better

1's great, if you like being mindnumblingly bored with crappy graphics and a standard storyline... it might've been great at the time, but it's so not fun compared to all the other games you can immerse yourself in -_-.

Graphics don't really make the game, ff7 is heralded as one of the greatest RPGS or all time or something, but it looks like you're running around as a Saiyan Snowman.

I don't see what's not immersive about FF1, it's "standard" storyline actually set the "standard", and I personally think laying down the story for a game and then allowing the play to go from there, rather than being dragged around by a half-assed story is alot better. That was the biggest problem with DooM 3, and that's the problem with Final Fantasy.

I know graphics dont make it, but NES graphics are so.. ew. Sure, it's tolerable, but all'm saying is that its not worth playing as a "fun" game, unless you're looking to play the original for the sake of playing the original. I don't see how 1 has anymore freedom to it than the others do. FFX-2 has quite a bit of freedom, in that you can basically pick whatever areas you want to goto, events to see etc on your own pace. Granted, it's one of the most annoying games to play, but it does have that freedom.

I finally managed to track down a copy of Wasteland. Now my Fallout saga is complete.
omg...the first nearly text based game i played...i never beat that damned game either...lol

although im doing well in fallout 2...got my .223 pistols, sniper rifle...also bought a m72 pulse rifle (but im a bit short on both nrg weapons and rounds for that gun....)....

anyone remember where to get the part for the car?...i found one in klamath (full cell regulator) but that part is only for reducing the amount of nrg cells consumed...it doesn't actually run the car...damn...i can't remember where/when you get it....

and ive been skipping around...i did arroyo/den/klamath to complete...but skipped around after that....to reveal the map...etc.....

MM you've gotta do the legacy...beat wasteland----then fallout----then fallout 2....

also there used to be a cool top down game similar to these three...it was call "blood something" i think...it was a loong time ago...lol...at least 15 years ago.....
