My grandad owns a NES with around 30 games for it and still enjoys playing them. Some of those old games were great

Even his grandad games? That is cool. Most people I know still consider gaming to be for little children.

He is in his 60's , he actually just recentley bought a PS2 for himself and my grandma. The also have a sega megadrive with around 30 games and an N64 with 15 games(some really classic/rare ones)

He is one of the few people i know that has beaten Goldeneye on all 3 difficulties

Yeah , he likes alot of the younger games like diddy kong racing(and managed to finish it). He also enjoys to just watch people playing games.

His favourite game at the momment is tiger woods 2006 and one of the snooker games he has.

Perfect Dark is one of my favourite N64 games and i still often play it when i have friends round.

Donkey Kong....brings back so many memories. Collecting bananas and giant coins on a rainy day....

I think i liked Dk country 2 or 3 the most of the series. gameboy ones didn't really appeal :s

i remember i got dk3 for christmas, 'n we stayed up playing it for almost a day straight, it was so addicting.

I played DK Country 1 and 2. Never tried 3 though.
I got 99% completion in DK1; how do you get 100%? Find all the secret rooms and stuff like that?

Probably... I only remember specific parts of 1, like this temple level -something, Mayhem- where i kept getting killed over and over. I never owned that one, so can't rly help much :x

Iirc, in #3 it was possible to get 104 or 105 completion. More than 100 anyway.

Millstone Mayhem

I went through the entire game after I completed it and threw barrels at every conceivable place hoping to bust open a new secret level, and jumped in every pit imaginable hoping to land in some hidden barrel....but no dice.

haha, yeah.. I did a lot of that in #2. Jumping off cliffs and down holes as well, in case they were fake-bottomed, and there was loot at the bottom.

Mostly just lives-1 though

I kind of want to get the music for #2, dunno if there'd be an ostpack for snes games. The bramble levels with the thorns + blue sky in the background were especially relaxing. 2 did have some pretty decent bgmusic for a snes game.

Timed ones were kind've annoying. iT took so many deaths until i figured out the minimum amount of parrot that could touch spikes without it squawking.

But.. <3 coughing hairballs.
