Been looking at some of the new consoles, handhelds and other assorted consumer electronics and it just occurred to me that I need to get rich very quickly. I do not nearly have enough money. Why must they make so many wondrous devices?

Some kid traded in an old DS for a new DS lite today. I almost said otherwise when I noticed his DS had something I wanted... a big wrist strap! I have been looking forever for one. So I checked in the DS, it worked, had the power adapter and the stylus and he got his new DS lite. He was happy and now I'm happy with a brand new wrist strap. rop:

id love to get the next generation psp =)...i have the last gameboy advance sp....and my last console was the ps2....so ps3 is looking pretty tempting...although i never have time to play now...=/.....

It's all in how they run their damn games, MM. Not only do you pay for the software but to get online whenever they're not having problems with their servers. Read as 'paying for not being able to play'.

At least with D2, once you buy the game, that's it! Also, you don't HAVE to go online to play OR you can set up a TCP/IP game with friends.

What NC$Soft(heads) do is essentially bilk lots of people out of money and game-time and gaming enjoyment. I'm only playing because my brother signed up for it and paid for a year's worth until October. I don't know what'll happen then. The only time I get any sort of enjoyment from it is from the *friendly* people I've joined up with and trade banter with.

Sort of like Ash, just not being an Ash-hole. :wink3:

The PSP has a great gadget value and I’d like to get my hands on it, but I’m not too sure about the games. The PS2 was great, but the PS3 is sounding really pricey and I don’t like the idea of being stuck with a Blu-Ray player if that format flops. It's a toss-up between a Xbox 360 or a PS3. I really need to take a good look at the games coming out for both consoles, although I think I'll wait a while after the PS3 comes out before I make my decision. If there is anything I don't believe it's new regarding yet to be released consoles.

That totally sucks. My brother has a stable connection with WoW and it hardly ever happens that he can't connect. He get what he pays for.

good point on the games portion of the PSP...i only bought tha GB SP because of fire emblem and advanced wars...those games were quite fun (especially when i was using the subway allot to commute to work....)....

as for consoles...im not sure anymore..i might just stick with my PC....although i really would like to get a new one...i guess i dont' see the point (based on cost....i mean when they were $200-300 that was allot already...now its supposed to be $300-600? i think...that seems a bit steep....at least my pc has some other practical purposes....:grin:
