They could have aged Big Boss and that would have been logical, but aging Snake is almost sacrilegious. I guess it just depends on how you view things.

You know, I just "upgraded" from cable to DSL and DirectTV (with Tivo.) I'm pretty sure both are better, but right now I can't fully figure out how to use either. Maybe my brain is slipping. Maybe I am too old for technology. Maybe I need a butler to change the TV for me.

It takes a while to understand new technology as you age. Kids seem to adapt to changes better than adults. But you should still be able to figure things out.

"Guns of the patriots" sounds pretty cool to me. Thats Kojima for you-everyone whined about Raiden in MGS2-but it turned out to be a great idea-as it gave gamers a chance to look at Snake from an outsider perspective & it made him look ultra cool.

With a long established saga such as Metal gear-Kojima knows,inorder to keep the vets glued to the series-he needs to do things differently,add new elements,surprises etc.No pont in providing more of the same each & every game.

Besides gray is sometimes cool.Man is at his peak in middle age & besides he looks like Sean Connery from Rock which is pwnage. :thumbsup:

If I knew Kojima had to resort to taking cues from something as un-original as Splinter Cell I'd stop playing it (mgs) K.

I dunno I played that chaos theory one for about an hour, it was really fun. You can take ideas from people newer than you, MGS is still classic though. MGS has that scifi type stuff with Metal Gear, Splinter Cell is a little too vanilla for me.

It doesn't even have dead robot ninjas with swords that deflect bullets

I don't know much about teknologie, how long before we have a gameboy/cellphone/ipod/digital camera/video camera thing, and oh maybe wear it as a watch? I wonder why they don't make ipods the same size with more functions to use all that space instead of making them smallzor, I mean the biggest ipod made is still small enough for me
