I'm not seeing a change of font. Maybe someone haxed your computer and changed your font for everything to wingdings, knowing that even though the operation of changing it back is actually quite simple, but you'll have to read wingdings to do it. I'll tell you the shortcut to fixing it MM:

Don't go for the X2 dual core mate. There a lot of issues with them atm with the handling of resources and distributing of CPU usage between the 2 cores..

Wasn't planning on getting one yet. I was aiming for an AMD Box Athlon 64 3500+ Venice.

Instead, I put it in some riddle thread in the other OT, the one that is its own forum, and I can't take it back. It's kinda sad, really, but I promise that when I have spammed enough to make that number 10k, I'll share it here.

Actually, yes, I've heard of that, cotton. Even read a science-fiction story called 'They're Made of Meat'. Look it up someplace, it's really funny. :thumbsup:

In a more philosophical vein, the concept of 'mind' being seperate from the body or not brings something to mind (no pun intended), namely wave/particle physics and the duality of subatomic particles. To summarize the book I read, it simply postulated that all particles exist within the waveform and that we simply experience one part of that total, infinite waveform. Other parallel universes experience the remaining parts. The same concept is then proposed for the existance of mind, that it is a macroatomic affect of waveform collapse.

Ever think of something and then suddenly, for no apparent reason, you change your mind? Waveform probabilities in action.

... or so it is proposed. I thought it was interesting in any case.

And see, I always thought that the whole "wave-particle" issue was brought about less by some magical property of light than with our definitions of "wave" and "particle" and trying to fit little twinkles into our overly restrictive constructs when in fact, although sharing characteristics of both the conceptions of waves and particles, light does not wholly and exclusively belong in either category, but rather in one of their own which we are not yet able to adequately define.

I now realize that such thoughts are the fault of meme.
