Oedipus/Electra Complex?

I was wondering what the psychological syndrome/complex/whatever term would be used for a female who did not grow up with a father. As in she would be only interested in a certain type of male, relationship wise. If anyone knows what I'm talking about please help me.

While I'm certainly not any kind of authority on anything to do with psychology, I'm interested in it and do know a little about it. Absence of a father figure during (early) childhood can lead to the person looking for a father figure in relationships. People in this situation are often attracted to older men, or ones they deem to be mature.

I'm sure Anyee or someone will have more in depth information for you.

EDIT: Whoops, you just want to know the name of the thing. Try Google.

 People who grow up without a father don't automatically have psychological syndromes. Methinks you're looking for a problem where there is none.

Freud's concepts hardly embody what humans go through, but it is a very good question. I would probably imagine that the phallic stage of the daugher would have very little fixation. I emailed one of my professors to make sure, and will get back to you on it.

(also, syndromes and complexes are quite different, you U of O freak! j/k I love you)
