OK first off (first post here), I have a fire druid, lvl72, and am having a hard time in hell with all the fire immunes. So I traded my butt off and made myself an Obedience thresher for my merc.

Obedience does -25% to enemy fire resistance. Or so it says.


Does that only affect a single creature my merc attacks or is it supposed to affect all surrounding enemies? My fire spells still have no effect on immune creatures that my merc isnt engaged with.


On a side note I am trying to get my hands on an Infinity for the level 12 Conviction aura which should work better. :thumbsup:

The -25 fire resi will have no affect on your attacks it would only have an affect if you used the Obedience.

So the -25 fire resi only works for you merc

Thanks for the speedy reply. Well at least my merc is tougher. Looks like I need to go rune hunting now.

also -res modifiers do not affect immunes. cold mastery and facets (which also have -enemy res) will never break immunities. the only two things capable of breaking elemental immunities are lower resist and conviction. and those arent guaranteed either...although they work pretty well on fire immunes.
