Obedience WW? Can it work? I know there are obviously much better options, but for a low end option for weapons is this viable? *OneFromBeyond
The damage CB and the blah blah mods are certainly nice enough, but you will be whirling very slowly. Even with a Thresher you will only whirl at 8 frames and its a range 2 weapon. You can use a Giant Thresher (range 5) but the damage will be weak. A GPA can whirl at 10 frames which is really slow.
IIRC, the first two attacks of WW are always @ 4fpa, so if you do short whirls (ie. DoD) you should be able to maintain a constant 4fpa, even with a Thunder Maul with no IAS on it. It should prove rather mana intensive though.
8 frames whirlwind is quite ok. I played 2 years under 1.09 that way and never had any problem hitting stuff. It's the 12 and 14 frames whirlwinding that never seem to hit anything. gogogo giant thresher. Range 5, enough whirl speed and the coolness factor of scythe wielding :thumbsup:
