So what do you think? Would this fit a Grief/Oath WW setup?

    Grief is in a PB

    Required Dexterity: 85
    Fingerprint: 0xa7928e1a
    Item Level: 85
    Version: Expansion 1.10+Ethereal

    Sounds like a fine choice.

I remember folks saying Balrog Blade was a better base but either one reaches the last WW breakpoint. So I'd go for Colossus Blade since it has a slightly higher DPS.

Btw, Colossus Blade and Sword are different,by the looks of it, Blade is worse than the Sword.

I guess i got lucky with my find.

Balrog Blades are good because you can rack them, I believe. And you rack an eth in 1.07, you get that bonus to max damage from bringing it forward. So with the greater range on damage, it does more. That said, the col sword is a very good base for oath. The only issue people will tell you to be wary of is the strength requirements. Because that's easily going to be one of the more stat-intensive things you're going to be using, you have to weigh in if it's worth it to you to use. It really isn't going to make or break the character to put more into strength, and more strength does mean more damage after all.

CB is marginally faster, can get 6 sockets, and has marginally less average damage. That's about all of the difference.

So if you don't need the 6 sockets, and the slight weapon speed doesn't actually impact your fpa, Col Sword will be your pick.

CS it is then. Hopefully this thread will help others as it did me. Thanks.

Colossus Sword is awesome! You don't need that much life while running Travincal, imo anything above 2k is fine. You can pump strength to your liking. ;)

You mostly just hear about the colossus sword/blade less because it's harder to get the right sockets with them for oath.
