Oak sage a good idea for wind druid?

Can you spare the points? Do you need it? Does it work well?
I play HC so life is always good but I'm not sure if i should invest in oak sage or not.
How is the oak sages survival later on? Does it constantly get itself in trouble and die and you have to recast it? Or is it smart enough to stay away? How's its life? Can it take an attack or two?

Seriously, I can't believe you would even need to ask that question if you're an HC player. Oak Sage is tied with Battle Orders for "best HC skill of all time", and the only reason it's tied is that the spirit can die. Its resistance to physical attacks is very high at slvl 25+, but strong elemental attacks still tend to cook its goose... sad, because there are a lot of strong elemental attackers in 1.10.

The only skills a wind druid needs are 20 in all the wind skills and 20 in OS. It's probably the most brainless build there is in terms of skill allocation. The only real debate is whether to put points in Grizzly, Raven, or neither, and that is really a matter of personal preference.

Oak sage is really helpful for a wind druid or any character for that matter, especially in HC. If it does end up dying, its not too much trouble to recast and it shouldn't die immediately.
