NvX help, please.

I usually use a V/T for pubby duels but have recently started using a bone necro just to change things around. The apparent weaknesses of the build were obvious immediately: Paladin desync, sorc mana-pot drinking and spamming fball, etc etc. It took 16 spirits to kill one ES blizz sorc. Granted they only did 4.5K apiece (not fully geared just yet and have 1 pt into mages/skellies/mastery) but still, that is insane.

Fball sorcs' are even more annoying. They move too quickly to get hit by spirit and even NL with spear doesn't work because all they do is tele off; screen and shoot in your direction. Is there some way I can maneauver to kill them? And how can I negate Smiter charge+smite? Those are really the only troublesome builds I've found. Trapsins are annoying at times, but BSpirit has a longer range.

ES kills your build. I have heard of randome answers such as 1 pt P nova or ummed widow but not tried it myself so cannot give you an answer to that.
As for FB sorc with ES, you really shouldn't have any problem. They sorv (in a way) which you can do same. Not full sorb but nokozan + dwarf, or even a nokozan is good most of times. Granted they tele away faster, but its not that hard to dodge FB or Blizz or Lightning for that matter. If you need use some b.walls to stop those invisible fireballs that sometimes hit you. Or fire gollem if you really want to have fun but not recommened.
B.wall is great way vs chargers and any dysynchs. Surrounding all places with b.wall isn't too hard, not that you need to. make tactical wall positions and keep teleing. Smiers or any melee chars shouldn't really be a problem. Try spam spirit, tele with them or away as required. Teeth is also overlooked but they are powerful. (1000+ dmg is 180 ish dmg, and wide area. It all counts)

Yeah I figured I need more practice with bone walls. Only thing is EVERYONE in pubbies absolutely CRIES if you use wall/prison. Not that the opinion or feelings of ignorant children has ever stopped me.

If you are really desperate and can´t beat smiters, try using combination of gumby + decre + doom, they should not be able to kill you anymore (worked at least for me ).

The only downside is that if somebody else manage to kill you, you won´t be able to take your body anymore as the smiter will definitely camp you

Doom eh? Never thought about trying that. I already use the gumby+decrep thing sometimes, or cast IM on them while they're imprisoned (if they don't have teleport).

I've found that casting a BW in the town entrance helps to negate any wanna-be nkers, and a BP or two around the smiter traps him but you can still get your body and tele away.

People camp me a lot. I hate kids.

just practice, at first desynch owned me but eventually you get the hang of when to keep teleing and when you can shoot some spirits. I have a max block bone necro so that makes it much easier if they do manage to get to me. Wiht prison/wall, decrep, and bone armor once you learn how to use it the only melee character that can give you touble is a bvc

Remember that walking away > ANY smiter once they start to smite. Use that to get outta locks.

Play aggressive too... running and spamming is a bad idea vs any decent smiter, bonespirits aren't hard to avoid and playing defensive will only give them time to synch/lock you with charge or telesmite. Go on the attack [intelligently, mind you... don't just telestomp and try to tank] with prisons, spear, "gumbi," etc. Forces the smiter to think fast, make mistakes, lock up etc.

Yes I learned very quickly to go offensive; same way against auradins who can't tele away b/c of Dragon armor. I'm still having problems with FB sorcs though; all they do now is teleport on top of me and spam FB which is much > then Bspear.
