Just about to finish off Hell Ancients solo, with my FB/LS trapper. My merc is dead and I'm getting low on mana, shadow just about holding her own, 1 ancient left, another 30 seconds to go judging by the way the life was been taken off Talic. It would have been all cleared and myself a level up and......

I'm too tired to contemplate a retry.

But on my next attempt I was fine!!

Made my first Guardian this ladder. Baal dropped me a Bul-Kathos Sacred Charge and along the way I picked up my first Mal rune. I also bagged a Guardian Angel in a pit run immediately afterwards. Not a bad evenings work.

Also, not bad for an untwinked trapper (well there was some anya shopping for claws!). He can now run pits, edldrich, pindle, shenk and chaos sanc in relative comfort and 170ish MF. All gear self found. I'm rather proud.

Got to make a vengence pally with the guardian angel now! Need to find myself some decent one handed weapons now.

Back to Hell I go.......

ps is the Bul-Kathos sword any use? I wish I had two for a frenzy barb.

The knockback on the big sword can screw up your rythmn and (not sure if this has been properly proven/tested yet but it seemed to effect me when i was using a Crescent Moon Phase Blade and GF) the different weapon ranges seem to prove a problem...been so long since i played a Frenzier i can't remember exact details...might be better on a dual wield WW barb for style points...
