Noobs On B.Net

I am just really pissed off right now at Diablo II for all the noobs that play it. I go into a rush game with the purpose of helping some guy past hell. This guy (*killyouridols) says rush me for my forge and im like okay fine whatever right? And then we get to diablo im like forge now and hes like after diablo so im look cool whatever. And then this guy goes ona bout how id get better drops from forge if hes higher level and im like BS. Hes like oh you can get guarntee HR if im higher level and he wont give me my forge. So im like whatever we'll do ancients then give me my forge. DO ancients and hes liek no lets baal first and finally im like screw that we do forge now cuz if i do baal you're gonna leave. Then hes like blah blah blah i hostile him and die because well lets just say i suck at PVP and then not only does he gold steal but he nks me again and starts saying ezpk ezpk blah blah blah.

Im not so frustrated about the pk part cuz that was my dumb fault but still why cant people just be honest on diablo II. I've always payed for what i was given and little biatches like that just make me sooooo freakin angry.

*End Vent*

You should've known something was amiss after he asked to do Forge after Diablo, and even more so after he spewed the crap about being higher level.

Some people will never understand that a trustworthy friend is worth more than a dozen mules of godly items. That bozo lost more than he gained. :soapbox:

Hey, that's my quote!
I came up with that one myself long ago (prior to your join date, he he!) but I'm probably not the first to say it.
Maybe the greedy buggars will wake up one day and see how stupid they've been...but probably not. They're the kind of people that will steal your wallet off your coffee table while you're getting them a beer.

Then I must be the richest guy on B.Net!
This deserves to go onto a greeting card.

That was just mean Dave. :badteeth:
if it was, i wasn't tryin to be...it's pretty obvious to me that the guy he rushed has been around the block a few times...he got exactly what he wanted and more from the OP.

Yeah... Boo to noobs both me and him which sucks. But where do people learn that taking advantage of a nice thing is the thing to do? I mean why do people think that just because its through the internet its okay to be rude. It just bugs me that #1 i was stupid and #2 people are low enough to take advantage of a nice thing. Its just frustrating that you cant trust people anymore. Its partly my fault for being so gullible but i was just trying to be nice ya know?

It's not just the internet... Grow some calluses now while you're young... It doesn't get any better... Life lesson learned for now... At least it wasn't detrimental...

Rushing for forge is a ripoff of poor newbies.I never rush for forge,i always rush free and hope the player gets the highest rune possible.I never would pay the hellforge-rune of my char for such a simple thing like a rush, i get rushed for free or not.

I'm curious about BNet etiquette.

Isn't forge-rushing part and parcel of helping another chap? Why was that considered ill-mannered in the way that was conducted by that *killyouridols?

If you request for assistance from others to rush, are you expected to let the rusher to take the first cut of whatever spolis that spill out?

In my experience, most rushers don't care for the drops from enemies/bosses (assuming normal) and if they do pick them up, they usually just drop them again after giving them a quick run over with a scroll of identify.
