Noob RW question

Hi all
Dont laugh at me but i dont want to make a dumb mistake.

Soo, found a no soket eth CV (gray). I larzuked it, and it got 4 sokets. Said yay here s my infinity wep for when i get the runes for it (that i am veeery close to now, should be done tonight). Then by accident i ve entered a perfect gem in it. Said "crap" but then remembered the cleaning cube recipe. Used it, removed the gem from the soket.

So, 1) can no socket gray items can be used for RW? (after adding sokets with larzuk ofc)
2) after using the clean cube recipe the item can still be used?

Im 95% sure that i can use it for infinity as it is now but dont want to take any chances. Thank you 4 the comprehension :thumbup:

It can be used again. But I am not sure if the Colossus Voulge with its high STR requirements is the right choice for Infinity, especially if it's used as merc weapon.

Yes, strength may be an issue, from memory STR requirement is around 200
Better to find a Cryptic Axe or Great Poleaxe

It's all a matter of convenience - eth cvs are used for infinity because plain eth its guaranteed 4os - not like other elites.

Other elites have easier requirements, but typically cost more.

If you hel +tp scroll the item, it destroys items in sockets. The only thing that would prevent your infinity from working in that etc cv would be to socket it wrong.

Worked just fine, as per the STR requirement it s not that hard to come by. 200 str on a merc ain't difficult to reach.
