noob: rabies/fury or pure fury in pvp?

i've been reading some threads concerning pvp werewolf builds and so far 2 builds stand out:
rabies/fury: max lycanthropy, max rabies, max poison creeper, max fury
pure fury: max werewolf, max lycanthropy, max fury, max oak sage or heart of wolverine
i was just wondering, which one is better?

Well although I haven't made a Rabies/Fury, I have many many Fury and a couple pure Rabies wolves in the past.

This is just imho, but there's a reason I think the build is "Rabies"/Fury, because rabies is the deffinite powerhouse of the build. I think that rabies is far better overall situated for pvp than Fury, Fury has too many dead matches against some of the power builds. Fury plays a second hand role imo, mainly just to speed the damage up if you're under pressure but I deffinitely think it plays a second hand role since name me one match where you "can't" just win with just switch trick? If I'm totally, diametrically wrong here someone can tell me but this is just from my experience using both : /

I've always like rabies in conjunction with fury as it allows you to control the tempo of a lot of duels, though I don't see fury as just a second hand attack if rabies doesn't take some one out. Often when an opponent starts losing life to rabies they can panic and get sloppy, capitalizing on someone being forced to run or go on the offensive and telestomp with a well placed fury often got me a fair share of wins. The build shines as it can have strong rabies in addition to a strong fury. Well I should say that's just the way I played my old fury-rabies wolf.

That said, neither build is better ybbuhc. I do think fury-rabies will suit you a lot better if you can see yourself doing a lot of pub dueling. Rabies is great to pull against casters and stuff that runs, and it's nice to be able to heap on the rabies damage with a Bramble against barbs and smiters. The one area in which a pure fury druid will shine is in stricter more restriction-oriented melee dueling communities. Their higher ar (via maxed werewolf) is helpful vs some melee classes like zealers and the few conc barbs that still remain. I'm still of the vein that a fury-rabies can do most everything a pure fury druid can with a few gear switches. It's really a matter of preference based on the type of dueling you see yourself doing.

Well, I'm a hybrid guy in general (so my answer should be obvious), but I'd say that Fury/Rabies was significantly better than the pure Fury counterpart in terms of dealing with the most opponents.

@ Queen- What does "ybbuhc" mean?
