noob question

don't really don't where i'm supposed to post this.

i have a 4-sox ceremonial bow with 3+ to bow&xbow skills. can i make the Harmony-runeword in it?

i messed up a runeword in a mace with + to some pala skill. the runes were in the correct order. just wondering if +skills matters when making runewords.

Yep - harmony works in any bow/crossbow - including Zon-only bows.
The reason the other runeword didn't work was perhaps because you made a mace-type runeword in a scepter (since maces can't have staffmods). Only explanation I can think of.

But don't worry - most everyone here, who has made more than a few runewords, have screwed up once or twice. Either with the order or the weapon-type or by confusing Lo with Io or something else...

#EDIT: But remember - a runword needs to be made with the correct runes in the right order in a non-magic item (ie. a gray item). And any +skills (staffmods) on the item, will stay as a bonus (hence allowing for example a memory staff with +9 to Energy shied [+3 Sorceror and +3 ES from runeword and +3 ES as staffmod]).

You can make a runeword only in a grey ( socketed) non magical item . Only! If its blue or yellow or gold your runeword will not work. Second you have to place runes in the right order. Third if a runeword needs 3 runes you have to create this runeword in a 3 socketed item.

Items with +skills can be socketed as long as they're GREY. In that case the +skill is an automod on class specific item and you can socket a runeword into it.
Of course the item have to be of the correct type, have the exact number of sockets and the runes must be placed in exact order.

If you can, post an ingame screenshot of the bow just for sure.
