No reason to wait for new ladder.... or?

Everyone is hyped up about new ladder season starting soon... says who? Not many people left working with d2, if any! This game is old now, there might not even be a ladder reset..

 

Why did you even post this?

 

if you're sociliting feedback as to what most of us are doing (i.e. waiting for reset or gaming again), i slacked off for a few weeks to wait for a reset, but have gone back to playing as per usual. This includes running my lite sorc to 93, finding more pally gc's for my hammerdim, getting better gear for my smiter, storing traded hr's in my ol' meteo-orb mule to reduce poofing, and trying to figure out how to get a level 22 lite-javazon ( i read in the guides that javazon's were tough...i'm finding different! ) through nmrop:

There's still no announcements from Blizz.. so they are either working hard on it (and not tellling us) or else they aren't doing a thing.

Was reading this thread with my mind somewhat free-wheeling...

Why do we need Blizzard for a ladder reset?
If everyone just deletes all their charaters and starts again, isn't that the same as a reset?
Do deleted characters dissappear from the ladder rankings?

 

but deleting our chars wont xfer all of our precious ladder only gear to nl

 

1. Not possible that everyone deletes all their characters.
2. No they don't disappear as far as I know.
3. Losing all gear I have been earning for a year sounds too stupid even for a joke.

"Everyone" isn't hyped about ladder reseting.
At least I won't worry/hurry whatever until they announce a reset.

I find it very stupid that many people expected the reset to happen the exact date as it did last year.

I'm sure it will reset as they keep occassionally doing things for d2.
Recent improvement of being the dupe-patch/server update.

 

But if you're starting afresh on Ladder why do you want NL gear?
Which is kind of a rhetorical question, coz since I started playing Ladder, I have a load of NL chars/stuff that I never play but I still religously keep them from expiring - it's difficult to let go...

Not only expected but became absolutely enraged when anyone suggested that ladder wasnt resetting on a certain date.

For all those who screamed, called people noobs, cursed and generally acted like an idiot when ladder didn't reset on Aug 8th, 15th, 30th, or whatever date they insisted... this is for you.

i made some profit selling spirit sets with hels, (10 sets, 50runes got 5hi)
