No "new" LFZon guides....please read..and make suggestions
Maybe I missed it but after looking at the LF Zon guides, I don't see any updates now that the new rune word items have come out. I'm currently building a LFZon and we all have our dream equipment set-ups so take a look at mine and tell me where my thinking might be wrong. I plan to also max out PJ to help deal with the LE monsters. Here is my equipment plan.
Helm:
Vampire Gaze:
Adds 6-22 Cold Damage - 4 Second Duration
15% Slower Stamina Drain
6-8% Life Stolen Per Hit
6-8% Mana Stolen Per Hit
Damage Reduced By 15-20%
Magic Damage Reduced By 10-15
*I like this over Shako becasue of the Dual leach and some nice DR. If building this Zon for PURE MF then yes, Shako.
Armor:
COH
+2 To All Skills
+200% Damage To Demons
+100% Damage To Undead
8% Life Stolen Per Hit
+70% Enhanced Defense
+20 To Strength
Replenish Life +7
All Resistances +65
Damage Reduced By 8%
25% Better Chance of Getting Magic Items
*What is not to like about this? More DR, Res and LL to name a few.
Gloves: This is where I'm still trying to decide. The 2 best options I see are Souldrainer and Laying of hands, both have some nice mods. I think I'm gonna have to go with Souldrainers becasue I have to get some ML somewhere. I think the best option here might be some +2 Rare Jav skill gloves but I would guess those are very hard to find.
Belt: I've seen alot of folks that like the RazorTail but I still think the Thundergod's Vigor is the way to go.

5% Chance To Cast Level 7 Fist Of The Heavens When Struck
+20 Lightning Absorb
10% To Maximum Lightning Resist

*Those +3skills and the +20strength boost is hard to pass up.
Boots: Wartravlers. I like these boots and not just becasue fo the MF Bonus. The + Strength and + Damage is nice. I like +Strength becasue it will come in handy when trying to equip the shield.

25% Faster Run/Walk
+10 To Vitality
+10 To Strength
Adds 15-25 Damage
40% Slower Stamina Drain
Attacker Takes Damage Of 5-10

+89-112 To Mana (varies)

* I like this shield OVER SS for a few reasons. I think the +2 skills this shield provides easly wins out over the DR you get from the SS. Your a LF ZON, there shouldn't be too many times your getting pounded and need the masive DR unless your playing PVP, which I'm not. I also like the masive Mana boost.
Rings:
SOJ and Raven Frost. Because we can no longer get the GODLY Dual leach rings of old, I can't see a better combination of rings than these 2.

Adds 15-45 Cold Damage, 4 sec. Duration (Normal)
Cannot Be Frozen
+15-20 To Dexterity
+40 To Mana

A very niec Amu. I might possibly consider a Cresent Moon if I see I'm having problems with ML.
Weapon: Hands down the best #1 weapon for the JavaZon.
ETH Titan's
Base Weapon Speed: [-10]
+150-200% Enhanced Damage
Adds 25-50 Damage
+2 To Amazon Skill Levels
5-9% Life Stolen Per Hit
30% Faster Run/Walk
+20 To Strength
+20 To Dexterity
Replenishes Quantity [1 in 3 sec.]

+2 To Javelin and Spear Skills
Switch weapon: IF you tend to play solo like I do then a CTA Flail with 6 BO is key here I think. However, I can see where I might want another ETH Titan's, even with Replenishes Quanity I don't think I'll be able to clear Diablo or Bael without a trip to town. This is still something I'm trying to consider.
Other things: I plan on getting a lev 17Valk and hire a Might Merc to help deal with Bosses and those LE monsters.
A few notes:
*With the items above listed I'm getting +9 to ALL skills and +14 to LF and LS. This will allow me to place some skill points in other places.
*I'm also getting 19-25% LL and 6-8ML. It appears I may have some issues with the ML. It looks like the Souldrainer gloves may be a must to increase ML.
*I'm also getting only 85%-120% on Resistance here. Something else to look at. Even if I get a Annihilus charm, that only gives me another 10-20%. I could look to get some resist all small charms as well.
Well, again, this is the dream set-up. But, I'd like you to tell me where I might be going wrong here.
Almost forgot. For my Merc (Holy Freeze or Defiance? what ya think?) I'm thinking toward "Infinity" or "BOTD" Warpike for a weapon, "Stone" for armor and "Crown of Thieves" for helm. Is there a better set-up?
