Like WOW, Diablo III should not have hardcore, the game is to epic ,also look how hardcore helped out hellgate london :coffee:

this is a troll post if ive ever seen one.

D2 had hardcore, it worked out pretty nicely. Hellgate London was a fail as a whole.

D3 should have HC. Dont like it? Dont play it.

I think the last thing I heard from Jay on it in public was something along the lines of "Ok fine we'll just commit to a hardcore mode here and now" outside of that no details have been released.

And I'm yet to understand what's the problem some people seem to have with hardcore. Personally it's one of my favorite play styles. But regardless, it's completely contained. Softcore can't interact with it, and it doesn't interact with Softcore. How can this be a problem is beyond me.

How is a game too epic to have hardcore? Hardcore makes a game much more epic anyhow, considering nothing is more epic than a last stand.

I won't be playing D3 for very long if there isn't a hardcore mode. Luckily there will be.

Diablo has been made to play hardcore. There are two options. Play with your one life or play with your unlimited life. I haven't started a Softcore character since 2002. Not even for fun. My plan is D3 beta - sotfcore testing. D3 - Hardcore playing.

epic last stand? wtf this is diablo not call of duty... where in last stand is an annoying perk. nothing really epic about it.

and too be honest there is no differentiating play style between SC and HC. its all just player skill. most sc players just dont care what happens. if ur used to playing hardcore and u play sc... u play exactly the same; try not to die. simple as that. nothing special about this "alternate mode" no reward or anything... and u cant even duel for fun. >.< not that diablo 3 will have dueling since player killing has been abolished for some lame reason.


the ONLY thing hardcore has thats actually nice is HC Ladder. THE END. except for the fact its mostly populated by chicken hackers or quick S&E people.

There's a big difference in play style between SC and HC.
