Why not dual claws on trapper?

I was wondering why not dual claw on trapper? You can use the weapon block skills and simply provide more dmg. So is this setup better than hoto + ss?

they get less mana and less dr and less block and less versatility (they have to sink points into w/b instead of something like mb or fireblast.)

also they have a harder time hitting 102 breakpoint, which a trapper with wizspike or hoto can do with ease. only real benefit is the ability to block certain attacks non phsyical. (like blizzard and orbs)

not less dr, cuz u can always use fade.

And u can simply get more life with this though. spider + 20fcr circlet + 20fcr ammy + trang glove = 80fcr, which i think is quite sufficient enough for trapper, Or put on 2x 10fcr rings then it would hit the bp.

Compared to the wiz spike/SS trapper that you suggest, here's the benefit of dual claws.

    +12 Lightning Sentry
Ability to block non physical attacks
Much more life since 0 points invested in dex

All you lose is 15% block vs physical and 1 frame fcr. I would go dual claw.

your forgetting the price range. 2/20 sin ammys go for 20ish runes. good sin circs are just as much as well. thats the reason why most people use wiz/hoto/storm. 2/3/2 claws on west go for about 30.. and chances are its unperm.

against barbs nad charing pallies.. that 15% is crucial. using hoto/storm and you do enough damage to kill any caster, and you have a better chance to live against physical damagers.

depending on the amount of skill points your going to invest in fade, this build will be to dependent on max trap synergies and weapon block to even have enough points for an effective fade.

When people ask which setup is better I give them the answer they're looking for. He didn't ask about price range.

Besides, you don't need a 2/20 amulet to hit 65 fcr on dual claw trapper.

yes but i find that 102 fcr is much better. i was never a big fan of duel claw because im more of a defensive player. also. weapon shield opens up more slots for items (such as rings, helms and ammys)
