NFL picks: Week 2
Week 1 is all finished up, and it was an uneven one for most of the league. Six teams didn't score a touchdown last week and three of those were shut out completely (and at home, no less). Some of the early favorites to go deep in the playoffs didn't look so good, while others that were already left for dead showed some life in their games. Week 2 should be a good gauge for everyone, so we'll see what is a trend and what was just a hiccup.
Last week, our spammy overlord Ash took first place honors while ogogo, jdawg (making a triumphant return) and myself split second place. Stevinator is out of 15 games for getting the Dolphins/Steelers game late and ghostee is out of 6.
Last week's results:
Week 2 picks:
Buffalo Bills at Miami Dolphins
Carolina Panthers at Minnesota Vikings
Cleveland Browns at Cincinnati Bengals
Detroit Lions at Chicago Bears
Houston Texans at Indianapolis Colts
New Orleans Saints at Green Bay Packers
N.Y. Giants at Philadelphia Eagles
Oakland Raiders at Baltimore Ravens
Tampa Bay Buccaneers at Atlanta Falcons
Arizona Cardinals at Seattle Seahawks
St. Louis Rams at San Francisco 49ers
Kansas City Chiefs at Denver Broncos
New England Patriots at N.Y. Jets
Tennessee Titans at San Diego Chargers
Washington Redskins at Dallas Cowboys
Pittsburgh Steelers at Jacksonville Jaguars
Some decent games this week. Bucs/Falcons looks fun, as do the Skins/Cowboys and Steelers/Jags games, but the big one looks like the Giants/Eagles this week. Most of the others look fairly lopsided, particularly the Texans/Colts. And the Saints/Pack game? No thanks.
Good luck everyone!
