newbie feral/fury werewolf

I'm trying this build out for PvM and I have a few questions.

Skills (all max)
werewolf
lycanthropy
HoW
feral rage
fury

I'm still in nightmare, so I'm not really thinking about endgame equipment yet, but I'm wondering whether I should go with 1h or 2h weapons. I thought 2h for the increased damage, but someone told me it didn't matter with my build and having a shield was worth taking a 1h. Right now I have fleshrender, which is amazing for me, but I'm thinking for the long run.

Also, what stats should I raise? I was raising strength just to meet reqs for some armor I wanted. I also raised dex for a few levels because my ap was sucking, but that was because I had OS back then and it improved a good bit when I switched to HoW (since I wasn't sure of my build at first, I ended up wasting 1 point in rabies and 2 in OS). I read somewhere that I should raise strength and dex just to meet any item requirements and then raise const after that. Is that accurate?

Also, is this build better than taking rabies instead of maybe feral rage? Just wondering.

Also, which minion should I get. I was thinking etierh act 1 ice arrow or ice minion from act 3. So far, I've been using the act 1 minion.

usually id go with 2 hand in pvm, ull be doing enough dmg, and usually have enough life to take hits it wont matter, stats i would go with str/dex for equip then rest vit, id go with oak over how for pvm if u choose to pump vit, if u choose to pump str use how, rabies isnt that great in pvm...doesnt kill fast and will drop games if more than 10 monster are infected, act 2 mercs are great to have, u could get might for more dmg, or holy freeze for safty

I like pow, so I think I'll raise strength then. My hp is only about 700 at lvl 45, but I'm doing quite well anyway. Hopefully lycanthropy and some item bonuses will help a bit with hp.

I think I'll stick to HoW, but my hp is only 720 at lvl 47 in wolf form. I have 8 points in lycan and 13 with equip bonuses. How high should I raise my const and what are some good suggestions from improving hp?

Straight +life > anything else. Jah sucks for Wolf. +Vita sucks slightly less. Life per level sucks as well. All of these aren't amplified by Lycan.

And if you Max WW. HoW will be overkill.
