    New pk build?

While running the Pit, I found a Gimmershred Flying Axe. Pretty nice throwing weapon. Just for kicks, I gave it to my enchantress. She has lvl 30 enchant (memory staff with inherent +3 to enchant, etc), plus maxed warmth, nearly maxed FM, ~lvl10 CM, and lvl 8 LM. With that little axe (+ a few charms, etc), her max damage lists at ~8K per toss. I assume most of that is the fire damage, but some also comes from the cold and light damage. If one were to make a similar sorc, with maxed blocking, some more points in ES, tele, etc, it seems like you might take a few people by surprise, especially if they didn't see you enchant yourself, or carrying the Gimmer. Yes?

BTW, NM Andy goes down surpisingly fast with some IAS on her; have to see what hell Andy does...

Enchantresses do that with their weapons.

My Enchantress does between 14,000 and 17,000 max fire damage with her bow. That's a level 43 enchant with maxed out skills. If she could always hit, that would be the most unfair build in the game. She could still get even more damage, I am still working on it.

With her orb she hits for almost 19,000. At the 1/10th penalty, you better have fire resistance and massive life.

EDIT: D'oh. Just understood you meant the kind of orb she was wearing. Stupid me.

    Holy $h!4 !!!
19,000 with her orb??? Do you mean swinging your wand, or the spell? And how are you getting to lvl 43 enchant? And I thought I was doing good to get to 10K damage with a bow...yikes.

As far as the "to hit" problem, wouldn't charges of fire arrow help? (that auto-hit, iirc). Anyway, with lvl 43 enchant that should be giving you some pretty hefty AR, no?

I guess I was just amazed at how well the fire damage added up, but now I'm perplexed I havn't gotten more out of my enchantress....thanks a lot Conner.
    :)

DoubleO got it right. If she smacks you with her orb, she's dealing 1900 max fire damage.

AR is insanely high. She's got just a little more ways to go, then I'm hiring her out.

Ewww, that would be SOOOOOOOOOOO nice if the skills transferred to the Sorc. Since that is one of the few weapons I do not have, I cannot test it out.

My guess is that's Amazon only, no?

Widowmaker grants the skill 'Guided Arrow' to all classes. My pala had a lot of fun using one.

you could try out the tip from the fishymancer guide.

that guy has one hell of a cool idea, 4 eth runes for -100% monster defence. ITD that works on EVERYTHING unless he is wrong...

who neads a super uber weapon when you can get one to always hit realy...and if you do just use it for bosses it would still probably help.

Everything except PvP, yes. -100% target defense translates to -50% in PvP IIRC.

I'm glad you're not on west... :scared:

BTW if you are kind enough to share, educate me on how to properly equip my lvl76 enchantress

    Currently she's wearing

    +3 fire ammy
    +3 fire circlet
    +3 enchant ormus
+3 fire +1 enchant magical orb
    +1 sorc skill unique shield
    magefist
    soj, bk ring
    1 fire GC
stilling trying to get spiderweb and more fire GC
I think the orb/shield combo is better than "memory" but I dont know for sure.

I guess some other things may do better - 3/20/xx eschuta's, 4x 5% rainbow monarch, 3x rainbow mask but I have no luck finding those.

She's great for helping out people but I am always afraid to bring her out to the field in public games (I usually enchant strangers in town borders). She has crap resist in nm/hell and she only has 700ish life.

If I bring her out to duel I think a bowazon can get her easily or double KO if there's such a thing...

    Lvl 8x PK Sorc :

    +3 Fire ammy
    +3 fire coronet
    +1 sorc sheild
    Mage fists
    sovm
    +3 enchant orb
    Demon machine on switch

    - Sheal a kuko on the merc with tons of Ias gear.

Enchant the merc and teleport around like you're on crack. Try to time it so both of the arrows hit at the same time, if you like you can also use lower res charges if if you wish to forgo the other switch.

widowmaker does not give guided arrow charges. it only adds to zon. I am 99% sure on this. I really dont think you can have a pally going around shooting gas. Please be honest.(i could be wrong)

Doesn't give charges, it gives the skill, like enigma does.

A Ranger paladin with holyshock can really sting.

as well as +3 and +3, but I'm assuming it's something most people actually have ^^.

If it were me, I'd cast Enchant with them, stash them, pull out a whistans +eld and a wiz spike...
