New motherboard without reinstall(I did it)
Its seems its always been the philosophy to reinstall windows(xp) when you install a new motherboard but I wanted to know wether you really could do it without reinstallation.I did a search and came up with this:

Actually I was unable to uninstall the motherboard drivers(Asus/Via) but I think because it was another Asus/Via motherboard it went ok no issues with booting and running games.When Ive tried to run Windows before on a new motherboard its gone mad and given blue screen etc so I was happy this worked.
One thing though you will have to reactivate anything that has some sort of telephone/internet activation so be cautious of that.
