new matriarch/help leveling her

hi everyone,

introducing my 2nd character to get through the game, Matriarch Meteorb (how original!)

just finished the game last night at lvl 77. pretty standard set-up, i followed sasha's build.

MAX frozen orb
MAX meteorb
MAX fireball
10+ fire mastery (next to max)
8 cold mastery
1 point wonders (teleport etc..)

stats:
str: 84
dex: 150 odd
vit: 100 or so
energy: 50

items:
full tals set
magefists
tearhunch
visteraunt
manald*2

items when MFing:
tals set
chance guards
2*nagel ring
visteraunt
crappy 29MF boots (no other mods!)
29% gheeds


i really enjoyed this build, didnt have any trouble in the game. the ancients were suprisingly very easy, i think i got lucky with there immunities and stuff.

i have some questions;

1. where is it recommened i go to level her up?
2. i plan to make her my meph running character, good choice?
3. is she good for pit running and baal running?
4. who is better for the above 2 areas?

i was thinking hammerdin was good for MFing, i just dont like the idea of throwing hammers in circles to hurt things..

i also have a skelliemancer in the ranks, lvl 22 IIRC, what areas would he be better to run than my meteorb?

congrats on the Matriarch!

yeh ive heard the hammerdins are great for mfing, huge damage and it pierces!
they're very fast at clearing those particular areas, but like you, i dont like the look of them while their attacking - standing in the middle waving hammers around...

my skellimancer does just as well, although a bit slower. but my skellies look so cool!

your sorc would be really good for baal runs.

i find myself using frozen orb against mephisto because my meteors dont do that much damage. (its lvl 30 with items, fire mastery is 20 with items i think 10 more til max) will the extra 10 in fire mastery make a big difference?

Kill meph and pindle a zilion times and that levels Your sorc. My is lvl 91 now doing mainly this two things. And I have grail - 70 items too
