New in PvP - Bowazon Project

Hi

I have some gear for my new ama and she will be my first dueler.
Her gear will be :

Bow - Windforce (Sheal)
Armor - Fortitude
Boots - Gores
Ring - Raven
Ring - Raven
Amulet- Highlord
Helm - Perfect Res Kira's Guardian (sheal ??)
Belt - Nosferatu Coil
Gloves - i cant decide but i think that LoH For PvM and even for PvP (res and ias) need sugestions
4 Passive & Magic charms

Skills (lev 85)

20 x guided
20 x strafe
20 x Penetrate
5 x Critical strike
5 x Pierce
17 x Valkyrie
1 x preqs

Merc Might with Shaft, GAze, Eth Bonehew Amn Amn

Opinions or sugestions or even dueling tips??
Anything will be welcomed

You are gonna be in trouble. 9 frame attack rate, zero damage reduction, 20 wasted points in strafe and penetrate (guided auto hits). You will have high damage so you may get lucky and win a few duels against noobs. I am sure there is a Guide you can look at for more info.

I realy dont see such an advantage in 8 frames per atack also if i consider shaft i loose damage and res if i swich kira's i loose res even more. And if my zon will get hit even DR doesn't help too much.

Strafe and Penetrate is for questing and even for some Socketables-Run-in-the-Pit.

But anyway thx for reply (i hope that i wasn't rude)

If you want open wounds badly get some on gloves or belt

A true pvp bowazon does not waste points on pvm necessary skills like strafe. Guided arrow + xp leeching + merc should level you to a decent pvp level (80+). Instead of investing in strafe get your passives to 5+ AT LEAST. Dodge/avoid/evade are the bread and butter of defenses for a pvp bowazon.

I'm pretty sure you made a topic like this not too long ago and i am going to have to say the same thing.

Kiras - Res + Bowazon = Waste. If this was a PvM build i would say go for it but in PvP and the high elemental damage your not going to have a good amount of resistances without sacrifacing your ias and damage. The Best option is geting something like andy's, Mav's, or ed/ias to get 45 ias on your helm(35 with andy's i believe).

20 Strafe - like XZON said thats a big waste for a PvP character. You should have atleast put 10-20 in Multi instead.

17 Valk - More wasted Skill points. I see that you want a PvP/PvM hybrid but i just dont see it happening. Its too hard to try and satsify both aspects so i would recommend making two zons.

@OMIKRON - I think that Gores > Travs for PvP because the combination of Highlords + Gores + CS will be much more beneficial damage wise where as the 15-25 damage that converts into a couple hundred more points will be reduced to nothing after the penalties. And it saves up in points put into CS so they could be used elsewhere.

Get a faith GMB and reach 95 ias. 9 Frame attack is too slow for most cases. You would need at least 8.

Lvl 16 dodge/evade/avoid is suggested (with +skills).

Travs > Gores if the zon went cats ammy and max CS, which imo is far more effective than the highlords + gores combination. You need a minimum of 100 frw to survive in pvp duels afaik. Besides, there isnt much place to allocate skill points either so might as well go max cs

20 cs
20 guided
12 dodge
12 evade
12 avoid
10 multi

Finished at lvl 75 if im not mistaken. From there u can get Lb for the pvp paladins. If u did not max cs, where else would u put ur huge leftover skill points lol?

Penetrate is not needed in duels, though 1 point is sufficent. As for multi, only 10 is needed. More than that will only burn ur mana faster.
