Hey i played diablo for some while now and played a lot of characters.
Do you guys have any idea on fun chars to play? expensive builds also attract me. If you know some could you point me to a guide? all ideas are welcome, since im getting bored in d2.

PLay something challenging. For ex a char that doesnt realy have a chance in hell.

I could sugggest:
-FoH paladin (based on fist of heavens, Im gonna give it a shot later on)
-Throwbarb (old favourite for bored players)
Poisonmancer (not that rare tho)

You all got some nice ideas, although did the firebear, foh, poisenmancer (great build still, though might consider a rebuild since my last one wasn't completely twinked), warcrybarb. I like the dual dream bearsorc build. haven't seen any, a few dual dream sorcs but no bears. Might try that one., if so do you got a good build for it or do I need to improvise:cool:
Keep the intresting builds coming:grin:

edit: seen a few kickers around but all died under 3 pulses of my HS, were they just crap or are there good ones too?

As I see it every build you can find a guid for is highly twinkt not really challanging to play, maybe to get the equipment is.

some suggestions:
- beat the game with an all white paladin or the most sexy amazon for example
- beat the game only using crappy gear
- play HC if you not allready do
- improvise builds arround skills you never used

Btw a throwbarb doing 10k+ av dmg and maxspeed rocks on hell:jig:

Orginally blizz sorc is cheap and easy but in my option like druid shaman is my faw  and theres many more too like that psn necro and throwbarb :)

Seralph your totally right, I wont use any guides anymore, (most builds didn't need guides) Now i just have to find a skill wich isnt used yet in builds. How about frost nova.. anyway i cant come online within a few days so i cant really check out all the skills. Any suggestions always welcome:rolleyes:

Pshhh, these are all wimpy. SD-zons ftw (Don't click that link if you have something important to do in the next 4 hours). Gimme one sec.

My own spin on the SD-zon. No merc, but twinked gear. Prolly easier, but more challenging at the same time. Crap dies faster, but there's less stuff to tank for you.

You could try making a bowazon which only uses the fire arrow skills. They seem to be sadly underpowered and would probably be quite a challenging build to use, doubt you'll be able to survive in hell very well though

Playing hardcore is a wonderful idea. However, I should point out that a throwbarb's damage is bugged on the character screen, and shows a much higher damage than it should. They're still loads of fun, but that's not 10k average damage you're swinging. It's not even 10k max.

haha the SD-zons thing is nothing for me:p Almost all skills are already used in builds. Can't think of a skill wich has some decent damage that isn't guided. Keep the builds coming:grin:

I'll maybe make a dual nova sor and see how far it can go

why not make a barb stunner.

20 bash(stun damage synergy)
20 stun
20 conc(stun ar synegy)
20 bo
1 pt prerqs
20 mastery

So a throwbarb doing less than 10k av dmg and maxspeed rocks on hell :jig:

I did it that way: First the fun build's(some of them are real fun to play) then HC and finally classic(after a 5 year break). Playing HC or classic is like playing an other game. It all looks the same while all seems diffrent.
Loosing a lvl45 char to lag or a lvl76 char to a fana cow light enchanted, extra fast and somting I do not remember(it happend quite fast) are somthing you not encounter on SC.
No charms, jewels or runes, no exeptional set or unique items, no elite items at all in classic. Just imagine.
