Need Zeal Sorc Advice!!!

OK So got my Melee sorc to 87 and duel with here all right I guess, untill I duel these damn naked(buged) Pallys and barbs, just cant hit em at all with 8k ar its just not cutting it. Sooo going to remake what I did wrong was not max enchant only had 5 points I think 250% ar would work far better then 100% =). Question now is I'd like to have another elem other then Light for Hell, Atm I have 20 Orb 10 Mastery works well in Hell for Light res mobs but it just sucks to many points. Also wondering if I should go the ES route again this time humm. Anyone with some advice

you made good char for pvm, now make a better one for PVP and max only what what will be used for pvp.

Yea the Char Owns pvm with ease but I just dont have the time(or money) to make a melee sorc for pvm and one for pvp so tryin for the middle. Gonna do a few tests tonight to c How much diff does ES with max Telk vs none and just going High Vit build. Thinking maybe this as build

20 Light
20 Chant
20 Orb
5 Cold Mast
Pre-req's with the 1 point wonders t-s tele etc.

Or Skip the Cold all together and Maybe put a few into Fire wall, or Chain Light
Anyone with firewall know a good number to stop at to just beable to kill stuff thats Imm to my Light?

Also I use the Orb for good cc, cuz for any char its not smart to tele into a huge mob of Casters and Venom Lords in the Chaos.

But like its been said good pvm build, just want to make the pvp part a lil better.

Oh and another point, this melee sorc is the most fun class I'v played in a long time, Plus Ya dont c any, Unlike Hdins and firesorcs and Smiters.

Anyone have a suggestion on a Spell that isn't atlot of pre-req and is good without senergys, I am thinkin Firewall but how many points would be good enough

Allmost all backup attacks with less than 30 points invested are quite weak in full games. With good items they still works, but you might need those points elsewhere.

I have used physical damage with crushing blow as backup with melee sorcs. Fleshripper (cannot heal, crush blow, slow ...) dagger is perfect (at least full game travincal goes down easily). Add goblin toe or other crush blow boots and thats enough. No wasted points and its good enough even in full games.

IMO better use those points to enchant+maybe synergies than use firewall as backup attack. Never used firewall as backup, so don't need how much it needs.

Well with my first melee sorc I was thinking I need a Ranged attack so did FO which was great but didnt use it to often, a Melee sorc IS a Ranged attack =) Tele in and Zeal away hehe, but I often dont like to play 1 sided chars-Pure melee, just casting etc, so a few points into firewall Might give me that second Dimention(sp) I am looking for. Also Drop a firewall on a boss and zeal away for some extra damage.

I've just gotten my Zeal-ES Melee Sorc to 85. My original thoughts about ES was that it sucked and Mana Burn would kill me too easily.

Oh how I was -wrong-

ES is godly. ES with max TK is just simply wow. My sorc is purely PVM at the moment, but she's doing it so easily. I haven't had any difficulty with her at all, and ES just makes it so much easier, AND much more fun. I don't leech at all, but because ES is taking any damage I may receive, the high level warmth brings it back up quickly.

My first Melee sorc was a Vita Bear and I didn't like it at all. I took way too much damage, and didn't leech enough back to keep my ball full. I scrapped that and remade another Sorc into the current Zeal/ES and it's much more effective, as well as easier to play.

I'm no pro at ES or anything, but from what I've played so far, I would recommend it IF you have the items to increase both Life and mana. It's a good pay off.

Yea I think I might go the ES route again, Before I rerolled I had unbuffed 1k life 1k mana and when I got bo'ed you could say I had 4k hp together which was great, But they way I am going with this char Is not going the 95% ES but go with a 60-75% and using Dracs Gloves for the easy lifetap or some other IAS gloves instead of Frostys
