    Need you input/advice

    ok. im playing useast.
and i come across a "clan"

in the game there are a few users motioning that they are recruiting for their MF Clan.

handing out site urls and the whole bit.

So i goto the site, and upon following the "link" to "join"
    a download pops up.

im thinking.. 'why the hell dont they just make a form on their site' so my paranoid *** skips the download and start popping questions in game. Everyone here knows, that if your not careful D2 is Scam Central.

    the url is clanggg.aowc.net

has anyone else come across this?????

and if you have, could you let me know what the hell this clan is, and all. and whether its safe.

*note im not asking anyone to visit the site, or download the links. you do that at your OWN risk.

That is DEFINATELY a scam site serving up a trojan/keylogger on EVERY link. If it's not too late I really recommend that you delete that link.

    BAD BAD BAD site.

There are other similar tricks around..

Once I got into a game, did meph.. and then this guy asked me to "vote" for him on this website because he and his brother (dear brothers :D) are betting on how many votes they can get in a week. And he also promissed rewards(of course). Out of curiosity, I went to the website, and upon click "vote", a download window popped out. Go figure.

But for many of the scams, only the greedy ones would fall. They are just too blind to see the obvious
