need suggestions on eq on my HC hammerdin

He will be playing HC and is entirely setup for Hell Baal running, so MF and PvP stuff is irrevelant. Aglso, I can't afford godly gear so hoto, sojs, mara's, and stuff like that are out of my leaue.

Total FCR: 80%
Total Resist: 164-179(Depends on the Viper)

1)Is Light absorb really necessary? TGod's or Gloom's?
2)I like the defense vs missle attack on Silkweave so I'm sticking with that. What do you think?
3)Is CBF(Ravenfrost) necessary? Will there be a situation where being frosted will get me kill? Should I replace it with a Bahamut ring or something else?
4)Will the Fire absorb on Dwarfstar help me survive a hit from FE? Should I replace it with a Bahamut ring or something else?

Since its HC ....
Lighting/Fire absorb crucial for surviving so you need wisp protector/dwarf star or t-gods/dwarf star
CBF its rather question of convienience - you can go w/o it
Viper+dwarf start give you around 30MDR which make you highly resistant to claw viper attacks (which is by far most harmfull attack once you are protected from lighting)
For boots ideally you can gamble/imbue something like triple resistance/30FRW/10FHR or use sandstorm trecks - life/20FHR/20FRW/150+ def/40+PR - make em excellent choice if are not looking for MF
For ammulet if you cannt get Mara I'd go for rare +2 skills/14+ resist all type or you might consider getting rose branded amulet of aprentise (+3 combat/10FCR) or rose branded amulet of whale (+3 combat/90 hp)

1) not necessarily as a 24/7 item... but yeah its nice to have for some monsters
2) it helps for some but there arent too many missle attacks in hell baal unless im mistaken
3) yes. seing you arent using enigma, you wont be teleporting. if your slowed in a large crowd - it makes it 10x harder to get out. if your caught with only a couple life pots, good luck
4) help yes. do it all - no.

Alike charger or zealot or smiter or templar (if its matter) hammerdin planted to ground during attack mode and as such dont really care about been frozen or not. The only case then its cause some inconvinence then you chasing archers with cold attack (during baal minions phase). As HC its far more important have absorb elemental damage then CBF.
Most harmfull attacks for hammerdin
a) bone spears (only MDR somethat sorften damage)
b) blood stars (only PDR/max block help here)
c) lighing attack from souls (MDR+ lighting absorb help negate this attack)
d) blood lords with meteor/fireball attack (MDR + fire absorb help negate this attack)
