need some help with durance of hate lvl 2

yep.. Everybody is telling me to just stay to the chars left out of the exit.. but half the time it leads me to nowhere.. or im doing SOMETHING wrong? Like its becomming seriously anoying =\ help please.

By "left" people mean from the back of the Waypoint, not how it looks on the screen.. It's easier to think of it as having to go clockwise from the Waypoint instead of left.
