Heya,

Check out the Guide sticky. It's got all the popular builds and some wacky ones.

Cheers, :sunny:

Windy's haven't changed since 1.10.

Windy's... if you solo, you will struggle like crazy until level 30-40 ish because Tornado is a level 24 skill and even then it is very weak. It doesn't really develop very good until you get it maxed and have synergies supporting it.

Tornado is able to hit multiple enemies at once, so it is a very good PvM skill.

That's pretty open ended though. Lots of folks love their windies. I find them boring because it's just cast & go and without great gear, getting up in something's face to spam can get you killed. And it's sad, but a lot of Windies will only play if they have Enigma for the teleport. Playing a windy without Enigma is a different ball of wax (more fun in my opinion). But even then, I'm not much for the wind skills. Casting physical damage that is random unless you're in their face just doesn't suit me--even though they're clearly super powerful.

I like Fire Druids--it looks cool, and style matters to me.

And I adore Summoner Druids, simply because they get the frown so much, yet are not just viable, but quite good to boot. My current rendition of a Summoner is using Aldur's set because it's often heralded as... well, awful. And on top of the general census of Summoners being awful. I combined them and it works quite well. If you're looking for another way to do the Druid, don't be afraid to try things that others say "suck." Play what feels right to you. If you want to know what it's like to play a Summoner, here's a few vids I recently did fighting in Hell against the Ancients & doing a Baal Run:

Hell Ancients with Aldur's Set Summoner Druid
Hell Baal Minions with Aldur's Set Summoner Druid

You can see tons of Windy/Wolves/Bears videos in the PvP video thread if it matters what things look like to you (I care what things look like, I have to see it while playing, so it must look cool, or I won't bother).

Cheers, :sunny:

You might want to try...
Trading in that beast for a Faith bow...a druid summoner (max all three pets and your spirit of choice) and with Faith to back them up is Very powerfull...I have one in non-ladder now and love playing him, solo you can take anything done quite easily, especially once you add in a nice act II merc to give yet another aura...just a thought, summoners don't suck, they can be a blast if you can kill quick enough.

I have a fury druid with a newly maxed grizzly. Love him. There isn't much that I can't take down, and I don't have the best gear, either.
