    Need RPG advice

Seriously though guys, I hate the fact that I'm an RPG fan, because there's so many of them out there that are really cool and fun, but I can't decide on which ones I should be playing that I've not beat, so I want you guys to help me out here. Which is why I made this. I don't want to be playing them all at once because it just makes for storyline confusion lol anyways on with the poll. And if you pick other please specify below what RPG you think I should buy and play. (PC games only please)

Thanks much for help on this very hard decision for me lol

    1. Morrowind + expansions ( fun and interresting. Has it's faults though)
    2. Summoner (a bit old but My dad bought it and it looks cool and diffrent so thinking about playing)
    3. Diablo2 (Don't laugh that I've not beat this game yet lol)
    4. Neverwinter Nights + expansions (Fun game to play and diffrent then most)
    5. Gothic 2 (I don't have this game yet but I'm hearing some pretty good things about it and it seems very interresting) Will get gothic 1 first if you guys think it's needed for storyline background.
    6. Other (please list) but also list one that I already have also if you would please. So I can get started playing it until I get the one you suggest I get. I'm not going to buying anymore for a while cause I have Neon upgrades to make hehe.

Thanks for helping me out in the right direction!

    Zargo

Edit: and oh don't suggest Everquest or I'll slap you with a wet Lenymo After 4 years of this crack If I just look at this game now it makes me puke. I'm waiting for WoW in this category hehe.

Neverwinter Nights is a really solid game, with few shortcomings. Personally, Morrowind wasn't my exact idea of fun. The combat system needed tweaking since the High Elf wizard I made was unstoppable after I worked on alchemy so long. I would just float above a city and hurl bolts of energy that did the highest amount of damage per highest area of effect... got boring being unstoppable.

If you haven't played Final Fantasy Tactics, I highly suggest you do. No RPG lover should go without playing one of the greatest RPG/Strategies of all time. The story will take you on a magical, sexual, hot loving ride. Well, maybe only magical.

The combat system in Morrowind is something everyone loves or hates. Personally, I hated it.

Morrowind. Make sure you get the PC version and not on X-box (although I'm assuming this is for PC).

If you decide to get this game, get it from somewhere like EB where you can return it because like it was said above, it's a love hate game.

However, the scenery in this game is absolutely beautiful. The game is really huge and it's always growing because lots of people build mods for it. New items, islands, quests, etc.

I say give it a try. I like it!

Yeah man, but I'm true to Diablo. I've never played Morrow Wind, sounds/looks fun though.

If your more into the RPG part of the game then the hack n'slash and graphics, I'd say play a MUD. I played a MUD for 4 years which made me a badass RP'r but then again wasted alot of my life but THEN increased my typing speed to 120 WPM with 0 errors WHICH landed me my current job so.....yeah, anyways. I play FF11 now. It pwns all the n00bletz.

If you're into oldies, try ADOM. It's an ASCII-based RPG with ADnD rules.
Otherwise, try Fallout 1&2 and Morrowind. They've both taken a lot of time from my life.

Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic is the best rpg out there, IMO. I'm not a big fan of Morrowind.

I vote for Neverwinter Nights myself, I have almost all of those games, and Morrowind is a bit work for me, I'll play it eventually. I just got Hordes of the Underdark, and am loving reliving the NWN's experience....

Final Fantasy Tactics is a badass game, if you haven't played it, it is definantly worth it..geez I love that game lol

The Fallout games still have a special place in my heart, right next to my Viking-inherited fantasies about pillaging Europe. ;) I'm a card-carrying member of the Unwashed Village, although I joined after F2 came out.
