Need opinions: carrion vine, rabies, or grizzly as backup for PVM Fury WW?

So I'm planning on maxing lycanthropy, wrerewolf, oaksage, and fury.

My question is what would be more effective for PVM for the rest of my skill points: Carrion vine, rabies, or grizzly?

I was thinking rabies with using a carrion wind ring to give full synergy would be nice. Or do you think carrion vines or a grizzly summon would be more helpful? There wouldnt be any skill points left to synergize the grizzly though..

Welcome to the Druid Forums!!!

If you have no qualms about using the Carrion Wind ring, then go Rabies all the way. Otherwise go for Grizzly (max Dire Wolves w/ one in Grizzly for a meat shield, or max Grizzly itself for an alternate damage source).

Thanks for the reply! If I was to use grizzly, I would probably use it as a meatshield. I used to use a javazon and a maxxed valk proved to be a great meatshield when uber diablo hunting. How long would a grizzly (max direwolf/1 point in grizzly) hold up as a meatshield against uber D?

I'm not sure how long. I didn't play much 1.10, really. I would suspect not very long, though, to be honest.

Don't put anything in carrion vine if you plan to use carrion wind for synergy. If you do, the charge synergy won't work.

Why not try two of them. I would put one in grizzly for meat shield (w/ a maxed oak he should last a decent amount of time). zero in carrion and max work towards maxing rabies last and wear carrion wind. you wont have a maxed rabies but it should be a pretty decent lvl.
