Need help on build.

Well I started back up, after 1 1/2 years of quiting. My first build since 1.10 I want to be a pally, and I have chosen non ladder. I need some heavy advise on stats, as well as an ultimate PvP build. I need to know exact items, that would be best, no matter how expensive they are. Please no abbreviations I need everything spelled out so I can understand it best. I appreciate anything anyone can let me know, and I know about taking the time and experimenting, but I am cut for time, and would like to tryout anyones build that they know will be a great PvP. Thanks alot for anyone who can help.

OK THERE is no ultimate pally lol, the best i have found so far is a foh(fist of heavens) pally for pvp, My foher can kill anything but a wind druid(cause of the cyclone armor most of time i end up just charging them if u can get close). U do however need alot of diff gear to survive in pvp includeing abosrb gear(ravens, wisps, dwarf, lightsaber) the jewelery is about the only thing u would need to swap out. My foher has chains of honor, herald of zakarum, marrowwalks(these r good for ppl without enigma or who can't teleport cause u can bone prison them) hell mouth gauntlets(fire absorb) griffons eye diadem with a light facet in it, A heavenslight scepter with 2 light facets in it, arachs belt, and 2 +1 skill rings and a +3 to combat skills ammy(mara's or seraphs would probally be better when vs. other fohers.

regarding stats, str is enough for all equip as is dex, energy is 2nd highest( mainly due to lvlin causes i found foh takes up alot of mana when ur rapid casting) and vit is the rest of stat pts.

Skills: foh, holy shock,&conviction maxed. 10 pts to holyshield, a couple pts into salvation(this is where the abosrbing comes in with the gear i mentioned before and salvtiion the only elementals u will have problems with are orb sorcs, i say orb because blizzard has really bad accuracy and u can dodge it 3/4 of the time) I got a couple pts of in charge for backup because with charge and holy shock on i do aobut 5-7k charge damage

With all the absorb gear u can take up to around 30k light damage without getting hurt, i'm not exactly sure on the cutoff pt for absorbing fireballs and what not.cold sorcs if there orb just stay far away and try to shoot them blizz sorcs u can most of the time tank.

So your saying between any kind of melee paly, verse a foh pally, a foh would win? Cause I was shootin for a melee paly, but if FOH are better I'll def go for that build. Thanks alot though

try to foh a pally holding a 4 ptopaz shield w/ res, thundergod, wisps and other absorb gears... no chance. I like zealot or smiter, althought they are not the best vs range, they are awsome in melee. But of course, you can always try the hammerdin.

For beginner I'd say Zealot, easiest build. Really good melee.
If you want to own all melee go with a smiter, although they're not considered melee.
If you want to be different, try an Avenger. They're fun and can do a lot of elemental damage.
Caster-wise go with Hammerdin or Templar. Depends what you like. You can see my other post for info on Hammerdin Vs Templar.

lol number one absorb is capped at 40% neways, and a 4 ptopaz shield only gives u 160 light resists what r u gonna do when a foher like me does -230 to light resists, This was just an idea i'm not sayin fohers are the best builds for all ppl i'm just sayin it worked really well for me

that is why I stack 250 resists ^_^. however, you don't need massive absorb to counter a foh pally. Stack your resists and get +20 max lightning resists (angel/tgods is the most common way, cheapest as well) and even the best foh pally won't be doing above 40 or 50 damage. For an "ultimate" pvp build, you might try reading pravdas v/t guide, or the liberator guide, or the mage guide by lord drift. by far, a hybrid is best, I would say. It gives you the multi faceted attacks you need to deal with your opponents. In particular, I like v/ts, but that is just me talking. Many would say a liberator is better, and it is harder to counter hammer damage (unfortunately), but frankly, a v/t seems to have more options available to him at times. He really is the the ultimate hybrid at times. Good luck making whatever you go with.

As of now, I am through normal, lvl 42, no stats picked, or skills. I still have yet to make a decision. I really like melee, could I get some advise, no matter how expensive gear to get a good gear, best skills. I would really appreciate it. Hows charge? Smite I heard is good, but zealot might be overplayed, I am not sure, I really need some help.

thats all fine and dandy but what r u gonna do when the foher charges u with holy shock on(which i have recently found out u can't absorb aura damage?)

i personally dont like caster chars, so you have 2 options

Smite but this is only good for melee

Zealot which i think is an alround build as it can kill casters. i have no problems with wind druids or blizz sorcs. just charge and zeal.

but having said that vs barbs im about 50/50 and vs smiters i just dont bother. when they have exile equipped and cast life trap on ya, theres no point.

oh yeah and for blizz sorcs, use black oak luna
