Need help getting started with PvP druid

I play ladder, and I was thinking of creating somethign different than casters, charging pallies, and telebarbs. I was thinking of making a melee fury druid.

Gear:
Jalal's (Um or Shael?)
Highlords
dual ravens
Enigma (Will I need CoH at one point?)
Botd GPA vs casters
Botd Zerk+SS vs melee
Bloodfist
Verdungoes
Goreriders

spirit+cta on switch
3x Max/ar/life gcs, 4x shapeshift with life, rest 20 life scs, 1 anni.

I was hoping that with enough patience, I could attract casters to me with wolves/bear + the fact that they think I'm a wimpy melee druid.

Skills- Max Oak, Fury, Lycan, Wolf... rest into bear? (for casting on sorcs)

Stats- 103 base str
Dex- Enough for block
Vit- rest

I suppose with enough absorb gear I can outlast sorcs/trappers/foh. This is going to mainly be for pubby.

Also, how should i go about vs necros.... treat them as deadly sorcs?

If this build is going to be too hard (or be less than 50% against casters of equal skill/equip) should I go back to making a charge/hammer pally?
Can i get any tips from the dru pros?

Sorcs are harder than necros imo
sorcs you need resists, necros slap on all out damage and go at them max/ar plains would help alot and you could keep like a hoto + spirit in stash to shift at a higher level
shael jalas will get you to teh 3 frame fhr
coh is useful.. sadly i dotn have one ><

edit

cta isnt that great it just adds a bit to oak and you dot have enough + skills to boost it

You don't need that many skill points for a Fury Druid so Fury/Rabies seems more attractive to me.

As for prebuff... No need to use an expensive Hoto, Fleshrender gives you the same skill bonus and people would pay you to get it off their hands.

Oak tends to die very quickly. Then, if you have to recast it in the middle of a battle the small bonus will be lost.

Tor is right. sorcs are way deadlier than necros because you need to wear crap to negate the elementals. with bone necros its iresistable anyways so its better. have some runwalk charms in stash (like 10) and a cats eye and aulders boots as well. combine itwith enigma and uve gota caster chaser. in pubs you can charge up on some zombies then attack. in priv they may have runewalk limitations.. either way you should be able to catch em with that much run walk. be spontanious against casters. go afte them so they teleport away.. then you run and when they get cocky and teleport to get near you use your long stick of hurting and wack em to death. pretty simple... or you can always just bite them then run like hell. :p

True but if you can keep it alive it gives you that little extra at the start of the duel.
