    Need explanation of a jewel Please

    jewels like this...(adds 4-15 damage)

    How do you calculate that?

    "adds 4-15 damage" means "adds 4 to min and 15 to max damage"

    I agree, it does parse that combo of mods rather confusingly. It does not just add 4-15 damage randomly to your attacks, as it might seem to suggest.

    If I'm understanding the formula correctly, I think you could imagine it as if the actual numbers on the damage mod for whatever weapon you socket it in is added by, in your example, 4 - 15.

    Example: Say you socket the jewel into a short sword. Normally it does 2 (min) to 7 (max) damage (4.5 Avg). If you were to add 4 to the minimum damage and 15 to the maximum, it would do 6 (min) to 21 (max) damage (13.5 Avg).

    EDIT: If this is incorrect, someone please correct me. I don't enjoy giving out false information unless of course I'm mafia.
