Need advice for my Commando

Hello respectful Necro friends !

I want to start soon with my new necro, the CommandoMancer, strictly following the guide by Kbob (and btw: thanks for that, its the best guide i ever saw).

But i need some advice for making my enigma, i have the runes but i dont know where to put them in

heres the gear i want to use:

Beast Caduceus
war travelers
shako
16/18 anni

i dont have str from other gear...

So i do have by chance a nice archon plate (3s) in my mule with 498 def, should i use that? But then strength req is pretty high (over 95 103 to be exactly). In doing so i have to put 62 stat points into strength, which is high imo but then again i will do some more damage.

The other opposite is to put it in bp but then i have an enigma with 870 strenght or so.

Dunno what to decide, any help of you guys will be much appreciated...

If your trying to use as less strength as possible...then a brest plate would be your best bet...since it's only 30...and alot of necro duelers use it as well.

ps: does anyone knows which kbob uses? because i think i saw a post where he used wire fleece??

Always enough for highest req.

There is a new way to lose your items, and not by body popping. There are reported incedents where people grab their bodies, but are unable to pick up all their items due to not having enough base str. Then while this body is still on the ground, they die again. If these bodies are not collected, then loss of items can occur if you leave a game because only 1 Body can go with you. Also, more str is more damage!

** I am trying with my newest Commando to not get the max str, but enough str to run enigma, but not from charms so that I do not have to worry about the str bug.

This is what Kbob has to say regarding Strength. IF you want to play it safe just pump your Strength to 97 for your Beast caddy.

If you really want to be the Undead Bear and do a lot of meleeing that you might want to pump strength a bit more for the extra damage.

ok, so the decision is mine and ill go for the archon plate, in that way i will have 200 strength in the end (made my beast yesterday, very average: 255%/32 str).

One other thing: i see i have a spare socket in my shako, what should i put in there? (no um needed)

Option 1 : high ed jewel without ias (dupes anyway)

that way i can use laying of hands as gloves to get max necro speed (with beast)

Option 2: some ed jewel with 15 ias

that way i would use steelrends but i wouldnt have max necro speed

Option 3: ??

Go for the option that gives you the most speed. You will need it. You should also check your FHR. Make sure you reach a breakpoint.

Speed becomes irrelevent when you are bear mode, you will always hit 8FPA if I do remember correctly.

I used Wirefleece for the most part, 111str req and I always had enough. Strenght is a good thing because we dont really have any extra damage modifiers.

I went with a 40/15 in my shako :uhhuh:

Steelrends would be a good choice due to the fine mods they have. I used a (sadly duped, didnt know till Halciet told me O_O ) pair of crafted blood gloves: 20% Ias, 3% dual leech, 5% CB, +9 Str, +13% Light res.

Archon is a fine selection and a 498 def 3OS archon is a great one, too.
