Need a lot of help starting a Bear Enchantress :p

I read the guide but it didnt provide a lot of info in this area. Im plannin on this gear:

Prebuff:
Shako
+3 fire ammy
+3 fire enchant Ormus
Occy
Lidless
Arach
2Sojs
Magefist

Fighting:
Shako
Mara/Angelic
Stone Dusk
Beast for Bear/ 110IAS Phase Blade for fighting
StormShield
Verdungo
2xRaven/Angelic
Draculs

Skills:
Fire Mastery
Enchant
Warmth
Shiver Armour??
Rest into another Mastery?? (Im pretty confused about the reason behind this)
or Energy Shield (Viable?)

Inventory:
Fire Skillers for prebuff
Life Skillers
Fire/Cold/Lite Dmg sc?? (Reason behind this?)

Also would turning into bear allow you to cast the cold armour?

Also you can give me some opinions about this too :buddies: Thnx for any help!!

PvP or PvM?
For a Werebear Sorc you only need a 95IAS PhaseBlade. What boots? If you're going to do PvP, please don't use the Draculs; Bloodfists for the next FHR breakpoint, IK gloves for stats, Magefists for damage, Frosties if you go ES, etc. Does your gear have enough resist on it or do you have other resist gear available?

Masteries affect any elemental damage you have from equipment or charms, so pumping the other masteries and carrying small charms will increase and diversify your damage. Cold armor cannot be cast in Bear form, but it can be cast beforehand. I personally wouldn't rely on ES, due to mana burn, poison, and open wounds, but I would try 20TK/1ES and a small investment in energy if I decided to rebuild my Bear Sorc. I tried 20TK/Rest in ES with a good number of points in energy on my first Bear sorc and didn't like it.

Prebuff with Mang Songs' or if you are really serious, +6 to Enchant and +9 to Energy Shield Staves.

Resistances don't work well in conjunction with Energy Shield, use Angelics for AR, even with Enchant you will not be hitting like a Barbarian or a Paladin. AR should be at least 15-20K with them.

Stone Dusk is useless, use an Enigma or Duress. Defense is not needed, you'll have maybe 20-25K defense with major prebuffing if you max your Cold Armors and get high defense items, it's not worth it.

For skills go Energy Shield, Telekinesis, Enchant, Warmth and Fire Mastery.

Im guessing this is for pvp.
Use 95 ias phase as that hits the best breakpoint.
You can go either ES or shiver, i'd personally go for shiver because huge def boost, source of different elemental damage (not to be underestimated), and less prereqs compared to ES. You dont need ES because you have good life already (3k+ without bo). Shiver does more than 300 per hit before -resist from CM is taken into account. In this way, it is like thorns/IM + chilling.
Contrary to what thegreatdivorce said, stone is NOT useless. This build is mainly for melee duels so defense is very important. Without an armor with 2k+ defense and a high level shiver armor you WILL NOT get over 20k defense. Why use enigma or duress? The only useful stats on enigma for this build are the life and +2 skills. The only useful stats on duress for this build are fhr and open wounds. Open wounds are not that important because enchant bears hit so hard that duels are usually over quickly. OW only has use against high fire resist/absorbers when duels last longer. Stone has huge def, huge fhr and good str and vit boosts. If you need resists use coh.
For skills go shiver armor, cold mastery, enchant, warmth and fire mastery, maxing cm last.

P.S i have an example on open if you want me to send it to you.
