    Necro's summons vs druid's summons.

Lets say that a maxed out fire golem with 20 points in all the golems for synergies and 20 points in golem fought a druid's lvl 20 grizzly with 20 points in dire wolves and 20 points in spirit wolves in hell difficulty.

I'd say that the grizzly would win. Even though the fire golem has more life because it is hell difficulty. Y are the necro's summons so weak? A grizzly that takes 60 skill points to max out can kill a fire golem that takes 100 points to max out. If the druid used 20 more skill points for a oak sage the fire golem would lose even worse. Any1 else think that the golems are underpowered?

yes, in terms of damage output/survivability (to an extent on the survivability part) but the golems particularly clay...have nice bonuses that make them more useful sometimes.

Fire golem aren't exactly the best necro summon. In fact, it is generaly considered one of the worse beside blood golem, so it isn't a fair to compare fire golem to grizzly. Golems are mostly use as tanks, not damage, so clay golem are the best in this case, with high life even with only 1 point invested in both clay golem and golem mastery, slow effect and low mana cost. The necromancer also depends on other minions for damage, not golems.

The main strenght of nerco summons is in numbers, they are not expected to stand on their own. You can easily achieve 30+ minions with some +skills (+9 to summons give you 13 skeletons, 13 mages and 10 revive, assuming you have maxed all skeleton skills, 1 in revive and 1 in a golem of your choice).

Teleport all your minions (merc, skeles, golem) on top of one grizzly and well see who wins then hehehehehehe.

We all know that from a damage perspective the Golems got the shaft. If you take a look at the stickied thread you’ll see that there is something wrong in the code from FG. He was supposed to have way more damage.
