I like them both, but necros are easier to mf with.

And welcome to our forum, even if your questions are tough to answer

I have both a windy druid and a skellimancer in single player and both are quite powerful but the necro has a bigger advantage, especially in MF and later Hell areas. Go with the necro :winner:

Necro = Best Poor man's char. Then with the proper gear can be unstoppable.

Dr00d= you will need some sort of good tweakage to get him going.

Depends on what you want to do with your Drood or Necro(since you didn't say what for)

Droods are my 2nd favorite character.

Necro since we're on the Necro forum:scratch:

And is this any build(s) in particular or just a general comparision of Druid v Necro?

I speak for pvm. I prefer necromancer because there is so many viable builts. The druid is limited to the windruid and wereforms. Nevertheless windruid is cool to play.

Arctic Blast, but there's a bug, Wind, Hunter, Fire no Geddon, Fire Geddon, FC Bear, Shock Geddon, Hunger Bear, Maul Bear PvP, FC Wolf(rather uncommon), Rabid Wolf, Feral Wolf, Fury Wolf PvM, Fury Wolf PvP, Maul Bear PvM, PC Maul Bear, Summoner, SoB SW Summoner, Wolf Army, Hybrid PvM Shift, Flaming Rabies, Hybrid Geddon + Cane, Hybrid non geddon...think that's about it...

    Necromancers all the way. :yep:

The concept of the Necro is what makes him so cool. A living undead, if you know what I mean. An aura of dread surrounding him. Conferring with the dead. It is just so

Dr00ds can be fun too. I am playing a Rancid Dog at the moment. Don't know of any other Dr00d build that I would play. They just loose on the concept.
    the concept.

Yeah. I know it sounds strange, but that is not a whole lot of variation. How do the different playstyles differ? Besides using another attack?

The things I am interrested in now are the Summoner. And the Wolf Army. I assume maxed ravens and the like. They can offer an interresting way to play the game. The Rancid Dog I liked because of the poison.
