Necro Summoner Gloves Question

OK here it is lvl 75 summoning necro.
Souly max'd skellies, mages, SM, revies.
He runs around now with chancies on and a meat wall up and still pretty much stomps everything. His gear is pretty much figured out .....but here's my boggle...... i would say drac's but i'm not sure how that works ... do the skellies and revies get the ...% chance to life tap ???, CB ???, life stolen per hit ??? (D) all of the above would be cool.....not sure how that works.

Or should there be another pair of gloves i should take a gander at.

Probably newb question of the year but hey .......:jig:

chancies aren't bad..
btw the ctc lifetap on drac's works only when you yourself hit the monsters...

Even if it did work... just cast life tap yourself, yeesh.

2 resist, stat, mf, and/or faster cast rate would be awesome.

Trangs, Frostburns (although I think those are bleh), or Chancies are the common ones.

Great rares, though, obviously trump anything else.

Your options:
- Chance Guards for MF
- Magefist (for wider range Corpse Explosion)
- Trang's gloves if you want to use the set for Fire Ball attack
- rare / crafted gloves with resists
- Frost Burns if you have a problem with mana (if your merc doesn't use Insight)

I'd have to say Trang's gloves for the 30% cold resist, FCR, and +2 Curses. Makes all your curses more beefy, it means that you only need 1 point in any given curse.

Well, Curses don't deserve more than 1 hard skill point anyway, unless it's Dim Vision on a HC character.

good input back thank ya.......
-frostburns tried didn't care for em'
-trangs is ok but curses are ok W/O trang...lookin for more stat in skellie kicks.....totally aggree i only sunk 1 hard point in curses and thats all i needed gear popped them past 12...nice
-Magefist to busy bein worn by sorc....but nice alt. i didnt think of

Chancies are ok and work well mf too boot ....reaaaaaaal niiiiiice.

so the skellies wont get the life tap understandable......thanks for the heads up that i have life tap curse didnt notice....seeeesh. lol

So i guess bottom line is do the skellies and revies get the CB ????

and........

The life stolen per hit goes to them or does not apply ???

main to things i wqas looking at when thinkin' of equip.

none of that works, and your skeles should not be dying very frequently anyways.
if you don't have enigma fcr isn't all together pointless but there's better choices

Only thing skellies receive from you is the +skills and your MF/GF.
THERE WE GO .....my noob question has been answered, thank you illestkhmai.

I wondered if the skellies could ever get cb???...... i guees not *pouts*
There beefy all by themselves and rarely die in hell. They take baal down but just a long dragged out fight with mages help and decryp. but not one usually goes belly up. Gotta get more revies out there with cb then i guess like the undars and winged demon clubber guys.

Thanks again everybody

Something of importance: The FCR breakpoints are 9, 18, 30, 48, 75, and 125 (9 frames). If you have Enigma, you should try to have the 48 or 75 FCR BP.

That might help you pick jewelry and gloves.

In other interesting news, you could theoretically get:

Triple 30 Resist, 15 Str, 15 Dex, 25 mf.

Crafted Caster Gloves give 5-10% mana recovery, +1-3 mana per kill, and 10-20 mana (as well as 4 more random affixes).
Blood Gloves give 10-20 hps (and 4 affixes).
Safety Gloves give 5-10 CRes, 10-30% Defense, 1-2 MDR, and 2-4 PDR.

%CB - This is where your Merc enters the picture.

Obedience, Duress and Andy's Visage for a midrange kit that'll give him 55% CB.

Infinity, Chains and Guillaume's Face for a more expensive kit that'll give him 75%, not to mention the creamy Conviction aura.

Kudos for the help u guys .........

-moded merc up with infinity and duress, he pretty much tanks everthing insight and really has no problem on gettin the boys up and running at the start "CB makes a world of diffrence especially on the big goon bosses"......if my skellies don't get it first. Threw a gaze on him for lil life support in upper hell lvls.

- tried the diffrent glove variants and found trangs seem to work a lil better then the others .... still kinda lookin' around on that one . Strap on chancies every once and a while for *giggles*.
Think i need to research into that whole crafting thingy ma bobber dooo hickey thingy that ......yeah.

Improved the army a vast bit in a little time thanks for the info. :jig:

Good stuff. Now the challenge is to get to 95  Then your army will be unstoppable!

Little note: FCR isn't really important on a PvM Summoner IMO. You only use Teleport to reposition minions when they get out of control, or to cross walls. The 18% or 30% FCR breakpoint is more than enough. I wouldn't go out of my way just to get to 75% FCR, when using gear that will benefit your minions more is far more desirable.
