You could always just found your own anarchist state somewhere. You just need enough people and lots and lots of guns from getting very quickly and easily invaded. Except the lots and lots of guns could also mean you all die, or they could mean that you end up with your own set of mob based laws. Either way, there would end up being some sort of order because people would ally together for protection and you'd just end up with a controlling group or groups of some sort eventually.

They would not attack it, only defend against it when necessary, and each person would come there with 1 gun...I actually worked out the details for about 4~5 hours with my friends, he came up with all sorts of problems, and I came up with solutions.
To long to address every issue individually, but eventually, with enough conditions, it would be possible.

Considering that in most countries, the natives are the poorest, least educated, unhealthiest, and generally most screwed over group in the country, not getting taxed for their 10x10 plot isn't that much of a bonus.Jesse24 said:

Despite liking a lot of hip-hop, I'd hardly expect a typical crowd (especially a typical crowd for anyone popular enough to be reported on) to be a particularly representative group when it comes to racial/sexual/sexuality-related prejudice. Like any other musical style, it attracts it's own special brand of meathead.

It isn't, but it's also not their only one...I'm not native so I don't know all the benefits but they do get free gas, free land, extra employment oppurtunities (AEP: Aboriginal Employment Program)Anyee said:

You're right, many of the natives (but not all) that live around me and are my age won't finish high school, are probably unhealthy, live in crappy areas of town and most likely won't get a decent job. But most of this is by choice, its really not poverty when you consider how many oppurtunities they have.
- They get kicked out of school for being violent, carrying drugs or not attending, its not discrimination or anything, in fact they seem to get more leniency (is that a word?)
- They dont clean up their yards and leave junk lying around everywhere it really does make the reserves look like a ghetto. It's a pretty bad idea to be a skinny white boy walking through there alone at midnight too :lol:
- Don't bother to pursue a educated career even though i'm positive they can apply for a particular program to help pay tuition fees.
I'm not jealous or anything, obviously everyone else can afford to help support them, but that's just the way I've seen it.

I agree that with the right conditions it's possible but the one condition that I've never gotten past is that the mob/control thing can't ever happen. To help against mob rule, one condition would be to give each person who goes there a handgun with a certain amount of bullets, so strongest as weakest have equal chances.Kore said:

I thought about that, but first you're still not equal due to aim. Second, if I shot someone (ambush, better aim, faster draw, whatever) suddenly I have more bullets than others. Also the mob problem remains because if everyone is equal five guys working together under a Don are more than 10 guys working seperately. No one wants to kill one of the five guys because they'll have four guys after them but the others are all fair game.DrunkPotHead said:

I think we should start a new thread... but while we're at it, aim, ambush, faster draw can be easier developed by anyone, not just naturally strong.Kore said:

And in an arachic (sp?) society, there will be very limited technology. Try finding out who killed who and where to find them. Near impossible.
