Natalya?

Does Natalya serve some purpose? All the other talking NPC's have some function, but if she has one I haven't seen it.

Nah, just a flavor NPC. I think she was there prior to the LoD expansion, so in a sense she may have been like a teaser for playable assassins in the expansion.

But I've heard if you click on the chat gem exactly 99 times, then run 3 clockwise laps around Kurast and then talk to her......

She doesn't do anything, other than comment on your progress through act 3. In fact, after you finish quest 6, she will disappear forever.

She basically serves as foreshadowing for the assassin class, which came in the expansion. Actually, I'm a little disappointed that she doesn't have any special dialog for the assassin.

Kinda silly to rehire the voice actor for just 2-3 more dialogue lines.

Anyway it is possible that she might have some part in the story of Diablo 3.

Yeah she might have something to do with D3. After you kill Mephisto, she disappears, which leads one to think Blizz had something in mind with that for the future (besides LoD)...who knows though?
